Does anyone know where order merging takes place? My order (BTO rMBP, iPad Air 128GB LTE, 2GB Time Capsule) was financed, and for whatever reason, the only delivery option then is to have everything shipped in one go, rather than as each item becomes available. I'm wondering if that merging takes place in Shanghai, and I can then track its worldwide journey, or if it might happen closer to delivery, such as Köln.

The original 13-20 Nov looks highly optimistic at this point, if the bit about "48 business hours" is true.. :(

Currently, all I see is:

Dispatched on 15 November 2013
Delivery: 13 Nov, 2013 - 20 Nov, 2013

Status Shipment dispatched SHANGHAI, SH CN
Est. Delivery 25 November 2013
Carrier
Tracking Number
Reference Number (removed)
Please Note: Your items dispatched from different locations and will be merged together before delivery. Once merged, your Order Status will be updated with carrier and tracking information (at latest 48 business hours before your estimated delivery date).

I opted for one delivery for my ipad air and case. I didn't have any idea that this would delay my order...

Sorry I can't answer your query, but would like it if someone else knows the answer to this.

My delivery estimate is nov 25th, having ordered last Tuesday (13th)...

Last time I ordered something which needed merging it happened in the Netherlands (I guess they merge the iPads which are being shipped from China with local stock of the cases). You could only track it after it had merged, and it added one working day to the delivery time (compared to other forum members).

Thanks for your reply. It currently states that my order is in Luxenbourg.

It was despatched on the 15th, but with an estimated delivery date of 25th. This seems a lot longer than previous Apple orders by standard delivery, which I normally receive 1 or 2 days after despatch.

Here's hoping it arrives this coming week.

If it's already in Luxembourg then I'm fairly sure it'll turn up early next week.

Ordered 8.45am on day of release - 64GB, WiFi+Cell and Express Shipping.

Currently showing:
Processing Items
Available to ship: 5-10 Business Days
Delivers: 25 Nov, 2013 - 02 Dec, 2013

This'll be my frst iPad mini - looking forward to having a connected iPad with me all the time and leaving my heavier wifi only iPad at home! My back can't wait!!! :)

Ordered my mini on launch day and was meant to get it Friday according to UPS. Last update was Stansted and everything just stopped. It's now showing "Exception".

Anyone else?

EDIT: Guess not.

Looks like Three has stock of some cellular models but you have to sign up to at least one month of mobile internet (£15 seems the cheapest).

Nobody's got 64 or 128 in lte .. My order is still processing since the 12th

I have :)

My 128gb Space Grey LTE arrived today via UPS. Ordered it at about 0830 on the first day. Stuck at processing till either late Friday, or maybe early Saturday morning, then the ball started rolling. Wasn't due till Nov 26-Dec 3 window. It actually said delivers Mon 18th on Saturday, but given it was still in Shenzen(sp?) at that point I was very disbelieving.

Point being, don't despair if you're stuck at processing, the turnaround could be very quick like in my case.

Yeah but we're in the UK though. Doubt anyone in this country has got 64/128 lte models

Woah!! Hmm there is hope then ... I did order in the afternoon of the 12th so I guess I might have to wait a bit longer.

I lied partially, it's not in my hands but at home, waiting for me to get home from work.

Had a look at UPS tracking breakdown, amazing fast turnaround, says order processed in China 16/11/13 10:42 AM, delivered 18/11/13 2:19 PM. What a world we live in!

Got 4 more hours of work left though, struggling to concentrate, bah.

It's a double whammy of an upgrade for me too. Always used Three 3gb 3 months sims off Amazon for about £10-£12. Inexplicably, the price has risen to about £18 during the last few months, so I bought an EE 6gb 3 months sim for £19.99 instead. It'll be my first experience of LTE, wheeeee!

That's great that the larger capacity LTE models are coming through. You have to be the first one I have heard of.

Any update on quality? Any problems?

Could you also tell me the start of the serial number. I know people say it isn't a good indicator for screen quality, I'm just curious if the larger capacity models are coming from a different factory.

Won't be home till after 2200, if I remember I'll post. I may be distracted somewhat though! :)

Very odd that you've already got yours and others who ordered around the same time (or before, as in my case) are still stuck in processing, not even ready for despatch.

Great for you though, hope you enjoy it. Not at all suggesting its unfair or in any way upset by it, just find it a curious system.

Looks like the John Lewis website have the 128GB Wifi models back on again but still no Cellular :(

Thanks for heads up :D My 128Gb, ordered on 12th, was still sitting processing with Apple so have bought one through John Lewis and pick it up on Wednesday. Apple order now cancelled. Was going with Apple as returns with Apple was up until beginning of January so would give me plenty of time to make sure I was happy with my purchase. However I notice that John Lewis have a 90 day return and 3 year Guarantee so that is even better.

I know the 128Gb is expensive but given that all my previous iPads have been 64Gb I knew I would have to go for 64Gb at least, and for £70 extra to take it to 128Gb seems a bargain by Apple standards. If Internet access out and about was far better then I could have thought about a smaller capacity product.

I do want to use it out and about and have a Dual XGPS Bluetooth receiver which will mean I can use it for GPS application. The Dual works great with an old iPod Touch I have so should be nice with the iPad Mini.

I've notice this with the Three sims also. Currys are selling the 1GB/1 month ones for £2.99 each at the moment.
I moved over to Samba where you watch ads to get data. They also use the Three network.
