My iphone 11 touchscreen is becoming really unresponsive, so I’m really hoping it doesn’t break completely before the 13 Launches. I’d really love to get the Pro this year for the extra camera but think it will probably be too expensive, even if I trade in.

Really need to see the camera result first. Wont be a new first day release order, have to see the results.
I need a new point and shoot that I keep handy when out and about with the bigger camera, man maths says get the phone if the camera is up to what I want (the point and shoot would be 600+). Will be watching the results with interest.

So I think there may be be an option to pay off early - not sure if this will be possible with pre-order though.
But by your logic, looks like we are going to see a event on the 14th, pre-orders on the 17th and release on the 24th!

I really loved the midnight green with mat finish from the iPhone 11 Pro.
That would definitely be my colour!
The Midnight Green was definitely something that grew on me after a while, rather than immediate love at first sight like Pacific Blue. Matcha Latte green I’d call it. If I could do the 11 Pro experience all over again… i would 100% get the Midnight Green this time!
Unfortunately I have a bad gut feeling that Pacific Blue will face the same fate as the Midnight Green in that it is only a special, exclusive colour for that years Pro phone - at the end of the cycle it gets discontinued and replaced with another new colour, of which for this year it is rumoured to be a bronze-like Sunset Gold. But I’m still privately hopeful they break tradition and just include it again for this years pro phone
Or I wonder if the standard 13 will get a Blue one after it was there for the XR but curiously absent for the 11
That's wild because they're exactly who I plan on using. I don't want to run another credit check, don't want to upgrade my sim-only deal and I have plenty of credit available to me via Very.
So I can pre-order via them and receive on launch day? Have you got any tips or ever had any issues in the past with Very?
Last year i ordered the 12 pro and didn’t get the 12 pro on launch day and no reason why as it was in stock with very.
I order with very every year with iPhones, iPads and Apple watches. Always got them on release day. Had no issues at all. My wife ordered with very last year for her iPhone 12 and got it on launch day as well. Unlike other sites the website doesn’t crash either which it can on launch day

Blimey mid-July was an early start, makes a lot of sense given the year we've just had!
My 12 Pro Max has not skipped a beat but 120Hz upgrade will be worth it at last.
Also, I'm interested in seeing the new 'cinematic video' function and higher quality ProRes video support.

lets hope it’s actually coming this time and Apple doesn’t pull out of it at the last minute as what happened with the 12 Pro last year.

IIRC you have to have made 11 payments for IUP to upgrade. You can make that 11th payment but if you’ve know my views over the years with IUP, I’d never trade in with Apple but sell privately and pay off. Always around ~£100 better off
So if release date is 24th September and it says my annual upgrade is 24th September I won’t be able to pre order on the 17th and pick up on the 24th?
If you’ve done the 24 month over IUP this year then your outstanding balance will be bigger come upgrade time. But you’ll have been paying £20 odd less per month so it all balances out.
Tbh I’m not really sure. I’ve never done the upgrade part of IUP but always sold and paid off the loan. I’m sure it would be all automated in the sense that if your IUP account shows you have 1 more payment due it may ask for you to make that payment before you upgrade.
Well at the moment it says to upgrade I need to make 3 payments in store to upgrade so I imagine when it comes to time it will say either 1 payment
Or it will recognise that the upgrade will be taking place on the 24th and owt me upgrade for free
