UK iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus Thread

Obviously not being delivered till the 19th, but is anyone's iPhone being prepared for shipping?

Never ordered online and my first iPhone since the 4 so little unsure if that means my payment has been accepted due to the money being taken (Frozen) and all ready to go?

Also managed to order a 64GB iPhone 6 in Space Grey. confirmation email was at 8.45am.

Oddly, the Apple store was still saying it was down on my Macbook Pro, tried it on the iMac and it worked!

Lets hope not, but I'd think they'll try to keep you in your contract at first and if you decide to just ignore them and tell them I want this done, they'll do it... assuming your contract is at its end period...

No, it's simple. I did the same thing. I changed my normal contract to a 12-month SIM only plan. Very very easy and also they added in free 3-to-3 mins too. Call them, say you want this deal for this amount. Confirm everything and jobs a good'n

I said they use EE's network, originally it was Orange's network, however both Orange and T-Mobile are a part of EE now and have a mast sharing agreement.

Virgin Mobile also offer 4G, so they do use EE's 4G somewhere along the lines, be that originally T-Mobile's network, or originally Orange's, or even a mix of both.

Virgin Mobile don't offer 4G to consumers.

There's a business package, but that's offered by a different part of the business.

So whilst they may use "EE's" network, it will simply be the old 3G T-Mobile part of it, not 4G.

Azzin is right Virgin don't offer 4G to normal customers.

Virgin mobile is actually a 50/50 venture between T-mobile and Virgin, and has always run on T-Mobile, after the merger it now runs on the combined T-Mobile and Orange 3G network only.

Sorry should have been clearer. The discount excludes Red Hot plans which Vodafone market a lot of their 12 month plans as, as far as I was told. If it's not marketed as Red Hot should be fine.

Relax i'd say. Your order was a minute before mine, maybe mine was ordered a minute before your and email confirmation was a few mins late. When checking make sure you login with the same user+pass used to place your order and using https://supportprofile.apple.com/ <- that link
