Ordered at 8.25am gold 64GB 6 + but delivery not till 10th to 17th October, it's a mystery as I see people who ordered similar spec much later getting delivery on the 19th, Same thing happened last year. Rang Apple last night and they said it was the most popular spec and even when I said I knew people who ordered later getting them sooner said they took a lot of phone orders at 8am and that is why sold out so quick. Never thought of ordering by ringing Apple Store. Usual wait to see if can get one reserved but really seems like a lottery.

My order for a 6 plus 64gb gold went through at 8.30 and mine is being delivered on the 19th. Strange that yours isn't

Last year they started off at Shenzen which is the Asian-Pacific cargo hub for UPS,then on to Hong Kong. Some then flew direct to Cologne others to Cologne via Dubai, then from Cologne direct to East Midlands Airport and then to Syncreon Hinkley for distribution.
Last year? Do you mean for the 5c, there were no 5s pre-orders? iPad Air launch day deliveries didn't track from anywhere further east than Leicester.

Taken from elsewhere.
"Syncreon Parcel Delivery is not a carrier but a distribution holding company and the delivery is actually being carried out by UK Mail or UPS locally."
Yeah, I'm aware of these guys as I said my last 3 gadgets came via them. Always on to UK Mail after that around here.

I hope so would like to use iphone6 in superstore and petrol station.....'leave the debit card at home":D
I would say that the current contactless payment system fails about 20% of the time so unless this is massively improved it may prove unwise to go cardless.

My production week is 23.....not 32, but 23!! June apparently..

Anyone have the same/earlier??
That seems a bit early but anything is possible. No new gadgets in my profile yet.

In the support profile, my most recent order is an iPhone 5s, with a serial number that starts with F9. I haven't ordered an iPhone 5S, I don't own one and I was wondering if that could be the iPhone 6?

When I searched the serial number, it came up with the iPhone 5S (iPhone 6,2), 64GB Space Gray, which is the model I ordered for my 6. And production week 23, which I think is too early for an iPhone 6.

Should I remove the device from my account? Or should I assume that it's the 6 that I ordered?

Though I'd got a plus 64gb on upgrade over the phone with Three for launch day. Was very happy and excited after spending the day after a night shift waiting. An hour or so later they call and tell me it's going to be Three weeks late.

I didn't get an email confirmation and nothing is on my account, just that I've upgraded. No delivery dates or anything in the text or on my account. It's pissed me off and I think I'm going to cancel the preorder. I might go for the regular 6, since I'm having doubts anyway. How quickly will I be able upgrade again after cancelling? Three were just a sham today and don't need anymore drama. :-(

I got the same phone call! I wasn't happy. Just going to sit it out though. I think if you phone them to cancel you will be able to upgrade there and then but that is just me guessing !

Same, week 36 factory 2 :D

It was the wrong serial number, I just realised it was my Dad's replacement 5S serial number. I haven't got the 6 in my profile yet either. Still waiting...

Luckily I just checked and noticed I need a new SIM card.

My current HTC One (M7) uses a micro sim but the iPhone 6 uses a NANO SIM.

That's the same overall price as Three but you're having to pay 240 upfront instead of 0 with 53/mo after (and Three have unlim data)

I should have mentioned this will be on 02 Refresh, so I can pay off the phone after about 3/4 months at my own pace and then decide what I want to do with my contract as I want to join he 4G master race, but unsure of staying on 02, going to Three or EE.

Can you tell me the details on the shared plan thing.

I'm on Three but was going to look at EE as better signal and also 4G now rather than wait for Three's 4G in my area.

How much is the shared plan and how much for others on the contract? I'm similar situ whereby the others would use less than a 1Gb whereas currently I'm using out 7Gb/month.

I've pre-ordered a 6 so would rather go cheap shared plan as possible if allowed as wife has an older iPhone which is fine for her use.

Thanks

You have to buy a 'leadership' plan, then you can add a 'sharer' plan to it.

So for example, the one we're getting is £37.99 a month for the leadership plan, which will be unlimited minutes, texts and 20gb 4g data, including the triple 4g speeds they advertise.

You then can add sim free sharers to the lead contract for £12 (12 month contract) per sim. You can have up to 5. So as our current contracts are around £34, £22, £22, respectively, we are saving about 20 pounds per month and they're getting better allowances (my contract at £34 was unlimited data/texts and 500 minutes but with three who I have been having reception issues with lately).

However, the lead contract at £37.99 has to take out a handset. You can choose any handset you want for the contract. So in theory you could just choose a free handset to save money if you wanted or pay the difference for an iPhone 6 etc. In our case the person who is going on the lead contract is selling their iPhone 5 to get an iPhone 6 for around £70 factoring in the exchange price of the ip5.

It took me a while to understand, but I hope this helps and I've explained it as best as I can. Lemme know if you have more questions though!

Posted a separate thread about this but board seems to have been spammed.

I noticed some people who had ordered the iphone plus yesterday were getting calls to say they had been delayed until October. When you try to order now the website says 3rd October.
Has anyone on here ordered a plus and not got the call?

When I ordered 2 of the 16gb I was told 19th and have received no call about a delay. I hope all the plus variants have not all been delayed without notification.

Just rang EE.

Guy i spoke to said if he sends me out a replacement NANO SIM today it will stop my current SIM from working?

My best option is to go in store and get one on Friday.

I can't seem to find anything on the leadership plan details. Right now I was looking at the 38.99/month contract with 10gb internet unlimited mins texts, with an iPhone 6plus for £280. But your deal seems better with the more internet allowance.

I have never ever had my contactless cards not work. Used them in dozens of places hundreds of times. It's uber simple technology. Where do you get 20% failure figure from?
