Ordered direct from Apple a silver 64gb iPhone 6
When I selected the phone and once on the confirmation page it showed a delivery estimate of '19th Sept in most areas', but when the e-mail arrived it said 7-10 days
Got the phone on a 0% credit card, so to break it down into a similar type 24 month contract, it works out at £25p/m. I'm on a trial 4G giffgaff goodybag of £10p/m.
Over 24 months thats £619 + £240 = £849. Who's got a better deal!
Last year I got the 5S on Apple finance from Barclays. It was £629 for the phone with £85 interest and total payable £725 over 2 years. That's £30.20 a month.
I've now sold the 5S for £270 to Envirofone, and I've settled my Barclays outstanding balance of £335.
So in summary, Iphone 6 64GB, £35 per month and just a mere £65 up front to pay off the finance.
I'll do exactly the same every year!!

So I went into CPW today just to get my hands on the Note 3 to see the size, and lol its big. But then again I didn't realise how big my hands are.
I think the Samsun Galaxy 5 is the perfect size for me, but I would always want to *try* the Plus, so I just ordered it from 02 Refresh anyway.
The chap in the store showed me the shipping dates and lol. Mid October for all of the Plus devices, all sizes
I knew about these delays, but 02 told me on chat that it would not take this long, so I ordered from them, then the shipping date slipped to 6-7 weeks
****ing LIARS! They did say they will refund my contract price if delivery takes over 6 days, but man. I think I should have just damn waited.

If you don't pre order with an hour or two of preorders going live then you cant expect to get an iPhone on launch day. The stock is actually much better this year than previous big releases.

I think its worst, A lot of people who ordered before me (8:37am) didn't manage to get theirs on launch day, and I am lucky that I'll get mine on Friday.

We don't have iTunes Radio yet?
I have a US iTunes account as well as a UK, so I get access to it - I just assumed the UK had it now too...

I managed to sort my upgrade (Plus Space Grey 64GB) over the phone on Friday morning with EE. I am hoping I get delivery on the 19th. Probably going to ring them in a bit to get clarification.
I preordered the iPhone 5 with t-mobile (EE) 2 years ago and was told over and over that I would get it on the monday after release, came home on launch Friday after work and my phone was waiting for me on the kitchen table.
Who else is going with EE? What confirmation have you received from them? All I have had is a text message.

That's exactly what I've done, it should arrive tomorrow. I'm also waiting to see what Jisoncase come out with as I've one of their cases on my iPad Air and it is excellent.
Depends which model your talking about, the plus sold out very quickly but the normal 6 lasted much longer than the iPhone 5 or 4 did.
The only way to be sure is to be hammering the store at 8am on pre order day, every minute that goes by means your less likely to get one.

Can I ask some silly questions ?
1. Asked me to bring bank details for direct debit. Putting on credit card, why do they need this ?
2. Can I take way without it being activated ?
3. Will the staff form a line and go woo hoo after bought phone ? Too old for this.

is it difficult to set up the US account? would it mean i have to buy everything from US store
I live In Portsmouth and the last 4 iPhones I've received have been via UKmail.

1. Yes, for confirmation and that you're the person who reserved the iPhone.
2. Sure, after they confirm who are the one who made the order, I see no reason why you should activate it, although I am not 100% sure.
3. Haha i'd say that's a good thing to make you feel excited.
London here, and always has been UPS for me.

Indeed, take a plain bag or rucksack, there is nothing more obvious that an Apple bay on release day...

As you can see with my iPhone 5 it's quite a bit larger. Glad I didn't go for the plus hahaha that would of been massive, way too big

I can't speak for 02, but from my experience, network providers don't like to guarantee launch day delivery. I am in the same boat but with EE.
The good thing is that if you got your order in early, you have a good chance. the big players (02, EE, Voda) will have managed to secure huge quantities and will get everything sold out of their warehouse as fast as they can.

As i've said before, if you call them you won't get any confirmation - you only get confirmation from EE if you have pre-ordered online.
You will receive a text the day before your delivery to confirm the time slot.
I ordered about 1pm on Friday, and was pretty much guaranteed delivery on the 19th. He was a friendly, genuine chap but i had my doubts, so i phoned up on Saturday just to confirm my order. Everything's fine. Due to be delivered by DPD on Friday. It's exactly the same as 2 years ago for me, and they did deliver on time.. shared a smoke and a glimpse with the driver who said he's rushed off his feet with them and couldn't open his. He's still my local driver so it'll be funny.
