Anyone else upgraded with EE and literally heard nothing?

I know they deliver with DPD which is good so just hoping to get a text from them

I signed up with a contract from EE yesterday for a 6+ they said I wont hear anything until the day before delivery which will be a text from the delivery company, delivery estimated at Friday or Monday.

So how late we will see "Dispatch" today? for those ordered through Apple?

Lets take a guess and see who wins.

10pm~

I'm worried about my 6+ in white; that the white will make it look even bigger than it is, and also that I don't have massive hands. Suspect I might have been better with a 6, and as my husband's is being delivered at the same time as mine I'll be able to compare them instantly, which I'm not sure is a good thing.

Same position here. I want the 6plus for the screen size but not sure I'll be able to deal with how big it is in a practical sense! My eyesight would love the six though so I have to give it a go!

i ordered my 6 plus 128 GB silver at about 8:40 UK time Friday... was for 19th when i clicked buy, but had switched to 7-10 days by the time i got to the confirmation page. email confirmation came at 8:42

just switched to preparing for dispatch, so hoping it comes sooner than the 30th

edit: and £ hit my amex, so clearly things are moving.

Means if yours is coming for probably earlier than 30th, gives me hope mine will arrive before 14th October.

Question guys is this Anker 5 Port Charger any good.

http://www.amazon.co.uk/Family-Size...?ie=UTF8&qid=1410945308&sr=8-3&keywords=anker

Ordered at Amazon including delivery £16 using this code 6LE373D3
Seems like a bargain.

I bought this a month ago, and it's been fine. I've got the following leads in it: micro usb, garmin watch, lightning, 16 pin, and a mini USB. It gets a little warm when charging my phone, one of the old iPads and husband's HTC, but not overly so. Means I've boxed a load of chargers away as well.

I've got a few Anker products, one of their lightning cables, as well as an e5 I think it is battery I bought last year. Never had any issues.

Oh, the box is smaller than you think!

Yeah I do with DPD, current status is "We've received your order details, and we're expecting your parcel shortly"

Sooo lucky! :p

I await that e-mail! I called them today and they said it's in 'back-order'. Yet, the CPW website says that iPhone stock levels for the 6+ silver 16gb is to be 'delivered on the 19th September'. Go figure!

Pre-ordered a 64gb iPhone 6 on launch day from Apple.com. Got the confirmation at 09:04 and it was showing as '7-10' days until dispatch at the time I ordered.

Update to my earlier post, my order status has just switched to 'Preparing for dispatch'. Delivery still showing as '29 Sep, 2014 - 02 Oct, 2014', but increasingly confident that this is conservative in the extreme.

Definitely can't be much later than that, sounds about the right amount of time assuming they are in the UK already. Applecare+ contract has shipped, not quite as exciting as the phone shipping though :p

Just been in touch with Three via Facebook. This was their reply:

"Hey Dave, if you haven't received a phone call about delivery then you should receive the phone on 19th of September And as you are upgrading your contract the contract start date will be different.

If you could fill out our support form, I could look into this for you and explain explain exactly how your upgrade works: http://bit.ly/PbcMKL - Thanks, Helena
"

I've filled out the 'form', hopefully will hear back soon.

Queueing for iPhone 6+

What time is best to go and queue for iPhones? I don't want to go there all night to just stand around. I was hoping I could rock up at around 3am and bag myself a 6+ 128gb. Does anyone know how likely this would be? Should I be there earlier? Can anyone confirm that Apple UK will be using the Reservation Pass queue system in the UK and can leave the queue once we have a reservation pass?

Thanks all!

I don't know if makes a difference that it was an O2 upgrade I did through the CPW. Got my order through at 08:03 on Friday, acknowledgement email then came at 08:04.

I think dpd are fantastic, never let me down!

The other couriers are mediocre in comparison IMO

Wish apple would ship their orders with dpd

Agreed. DPD are the model for UK couriers.
Accurate, regular and detailed information on all deliveries - down to a GPS-facilitated map of where your van is, what delivery number it is on, and your ETA down to a one hour slot.

Are they supplying the phones from some carriers?
As you say, apple tend to use UPS in the UK.

My iPhone 6 Plus case has arrived :D

To be honest, I am very disappointed, feels and looks very cheap :(

Seeing how fast the 6+ Dispatch time went up in very short time, I'd say the 6+ is the most popular.

There is no correlation between time out of stock and "most popular" (as others have said).

As an example, if there were 10 000 6 pluses and 11 000 initial orders, it would go OOS pretty quickly, but there could have been 100 000 6's and only 90 000 initial orders they wouldn't even show as OOS at all, but the 6 would have been almost 9 times more popular.

Agree better than having hundreds of cables around cannot wait for mine to come this friday.
