Also just updated to the latest iOS 9 public beta and the GM of El Capitan, everything seems to be working fine so far...

Still went for the Neo Hybrid Carbon :)

Just had another look at the iPhone upgrade Program in the US. Its actually based on a 2 year contract but with the option to trade up for the new model after 12 months.

Technically you could upgrade every year but if you didn't you would still have to pay off the remaining 12 monthly installments and then i guess the phone is yours.

Yes and logically, if you do decide to upgrade you will have to start a new 2 yr contract for that new phone.

Just been playing with a 6 plus in local Vodafone shop and having owned a 6 for the past year it doesn't seem such a jump! Decisions aaaarrgghhh

I'd beg to differ I think I'm right in saying the below for the iPhone Program.
For example you could get an iPhone 6s+ 64gb for £40 p/m for 2 years (no upfront cost).

You're then getting a unlocked iPhone which you would then go to a carrier of your choice and get a SIM only deal.

One year later the new iPhone comes out and you literally just swap your old for new and carry on with your SIM only deal with the carrier.

If it is £40 that means 40x12=480
My SIM only plan is £20 that mean 20x12=240
Total of 720

Which is £30 more then buying the iPhone outright, the bonus is that I then get Apple Care + for £30 when its cost £120

For me its better doing it this way as I'd then get a new iPhone every year plus Apple Care+ its a game changer

While this is accurate (bar the actual prices) what's actually happening is that you're leasing the phone... when you take a second new iPhone after 12 months, you're starting another 2 year commitment... so essentially... you only get a new phone every year if you commit to continued payments of £40 / month to Apple, for ever.

What they didn't make clear was what the exit strategy was... theoretically, if you start paying £40 / month.. take a new phone after 12 months, you're in for another 48 months....

So.. 2x new iPhones... will cost you £1,440 (@£40 / month) over 36 months

Am I right in thinking that the 6S has less individual manufactured regional models than previous iPhones? As they cover more LTE bands etc?

The reason I ask, is that I'm about to move to Canada for at least six months. Looking at the LTE band differences on previous phones, it looked like a UK iPhone was not compatible with Canadian networks. Having looked on the UK Apple store, Canadian Apple store and US Apple store, they seem to list the same regional model. So does that mean they are more universal for network coverage worldwide?

Thanks

Going to be giving my 6 to the mrs when i order my 6s+ but might keep it till ios9 so i can have a play for a couple days and give it by next weekend..

Im feeling really nervous about the pre order on saturday. What tends to happen is you feel a little nervous, your heart beats fast and your shaking when clicking through the page to make sure you get the 25/9 delivery window lol

Im the same as you. I jumped back and forth and settled on 6. But been down to apple couple weeks back and played with a 6+, think they had fifa and halo game on there.

Felt so comfortable, i think im ready to jump to the bigger screen this year and beyond!!!

I went a bit crazy on Spigen cases thanks to their email.

Some of the cases were shown at £3.99 on the email but when you click through theyre £2.99

I ordered

Glas.tr protector 6s plus £5.99
Rugged Armor case £2.99
exact fit case £2.99
6S clear back panel plus TPU bumper £2.99 gone for rose crystal LOL - hoping its compatible with the iphone 6.

6S plus ultra hybrid bumper plus case £2.99

Total arouns £17.90-ish

Do these prices tally up with what others paid?

Im hoping this is not stock clearance of old stock though and will fit the new 6s

Just got 2 of the Spigen Ultra Hybrid cases in the post (ordered on Amazon when they were 99p each). They're definitely not old stock; the packaging says 'for iPhone 6s/6' and the cases have the new style buttons that aren't flush with the rest of the case. I believe the iPhone 6 cases had flush buttons.
