Gonna be a 'mare in the morning. Call in at 8am and browse site at the same time and quickly decide on what tariff etc to take up. Still, not complaining

Depends on a number of factors; I have a card attached to my account that I've had many invoices for apps, etc on and they don't tend to put a hold on it.
Just a reminder to those who are like me and only buy one or two things each year from the Apple site.
Check your card details, make sure their up to date! you don't want to find out its got an expired card whilst your fighting through the virtual checkouts!!

Hi all, I am due an upgrade with EE and although I've had every iPhone since the 3G I've never actually stayed with a network for the 2 years to be able to upgrade.
So I wanted to ask: what is the best way to upgrade? Online or over the phone? I have friends and family discount on my account so I'm thinking to make sure everything goes smoothly just to call but worried about the line being busy for hours.
Anyone with hints, tips or past experience please chime in

Over the phone for definite. This way you can sometimes sweet talk them into giving you some kind of extras / discount for being a loyal customer.
What did 3 do in regards to pre-orders/announcing last year? Anyone know?

They were a shambles last year, all the other networks announced and started pre-orders at the same time as Apple. Three didn't launch and announce prices until the afternoon and then the deals were nothing special.
Looks like it! Tried it on the app and there's no option to add any network SIM like before.
I'd say in-store, so you can get names and faces of people who promise you things! But the queues will be horrible...
I'm also in this boat. I have a legacy 40% F&F discount, I know it's now going to be cut to 30% when I upgrade, but when I got my 5S two years ago it was a year-long faff to get the discount and back-payments. So I'm hoping for smoother sailing this time. I also hope to see the tariffs go live tomorrow, so I can go into it knowing what I want before pre-orders fly off.
I'm hoping Vodafone announce their prices (and tariffs) tomorrow also.
I know someone who works in one of their stores and get 30% discount on my line rental.
Seeing as they also offer 12 month contracts that's one of the reasons I'd prefer to stay with them.

There seems to be an option on there to get it sent straight to your local access point (after you register). If I manage to get one for release day delivery I'm thinking of using this as I'll be out for most of the day.

Apple were pretty clear they launch on the 25th so zero chance of anyone getting it before regardless on when you preorder
Wonder how many people think pre orders are tomorrow and in the excitement and rush order a 6 instead!
