UK iPhone 6s and iPhone 6s Plus Thread

Wonder how many will order and get the 6 or 6+ and still not realise but tell everyone thy got cheaper?!?!

Preorders are not tomorrow. They start on Saturday morning at 8:00. The 25th is the official launch date and you will not get your phone before then.
Well I have settled my mind on the Space Grey 6s 
I have had a gold 5s for last 2 years and was keen to get back to a black bezel/screen but was starting to sway because i just got a gold retina macbook and as I said earlier in the thread would love a pair of Beats wireless Studios in Gold which are gold and white to match the gold phone perfectly.
I went to a few stores on my way home from work tonight to have a good look at the current 6 to help solve my (first world) dilemma as I've never really bothered to have a good look at it. Annoyingly EE and Three had their screwed down in clamps so it was really hard to see the backs. Eventually I went to O2 who helpfully had their 6 and 6+ on bungee cords so I could have a good look and feel of the whole phone. I do like the gold back and am less keen on the space grey back but ultimately the black screen really sold me. I played around with the phones and changed the wallpapers to black background wallpapers on the space grey and white / light based wallpapers on the silver and gold models. I think the black looks awesome and love that you really can't see where the screen ends with dark wallpapers.
Also I ordered a couple of the 99p Spigen 6/6s cases of Amazon - one has a rose gold bumper and clear back which I think will look great on the Space Grey. Will have a rose gold trim around the black screen which goes some way towards the black gold iPhone I was really hoping for. Really wish I could have got one like that in champagne gold for 99p or cheap but think it was £15 or £20!
Hopefully as am (pre)ordering a 128gb it will be slightly less popular and I'll get on 25th..

Yup same here. Having had a white 5, gold 5s then the White 6 in going back to black. Can't believe the last time I had one was my 4. Also going with the 6+ this time. Think moving to from the 5s, the 6+ felt too big.. Not as bad after a year with the 6.
(Wow re-reading that I really can't say I'm not that much of an apple enthusiast anymore!)
Not been in a contact for over 4 years now so could be wrong but you'd probably be charged for what ever the upfront cost of the handset was and payment would be taken from your card when the phone was dispatched.
I'm considering the gold which is very unlike me. Like you I've always had black/slate/space grey. I always pick the dark option, shoes, clothes... I'm surprised at myself!
Hi all, great to see this thread, but on a 0.36Mb/s connection abroad I'm not going to read through every page. Is anyone in this page considering ordering through the carrier? Namely EE? I've signed up for updates, but I'd love to have an idea of contract prices and the like. I'm going to be preordering abroad! Scary stuff!
I have alternated between black and white since the first white was introduced. Nice way to feel you are changing your phone - particularly on s models.
I didn't think there looked like much difference between the 2 sizes but I agree 5s to 6+/6s+ would feel too big a jump.
I think my hubby should get a 6+ as he spends a lot of time surfing in his iPhone whereas I flit between my iPhone, iPad and MacBook. Usually all on the 3 at the same time. He has a 5c but is happy to keep it another year
as not due to upgrade until Oct 2016 (weirdo lol!)
If you are going from a 6+ to a 6s+ then at least changing colour will make it feel even more 'changed'!

Looks like Apple confirmed to media during hands on that both 6s models have 2gb of RAM! :thumbsup:
When I pre-ordered my iPhone 6 64GB it was 149.99 I believe and the 16GB was 79.99. This was at 42 p/m for 5GB but there was a 38 p/m package for 1GB of internet. Hope this information helps.

That's my thinking behind the 6s+. I hardly make calls on my phone any more and I want the screen real estate for browsing and video.
Was close in picking up an iPad mini before the + leaked. But now want a retina MacBook to chuck into my work bag.. Will wait for the processor updates first.
The missus' 5c is creaking at the seams so she'll be getting my 6

Yes, I paid £149.99 for the upfront cost and then just follow the £42 per months for the last year.
Know the feeling, just got my Apple Watch 2 weeks ago and I think I'm getting the 6+. Christmas will come early for my son he'll get my 6.
