Battery life wont change even if batteries are smaller!! The A9 is super efficient

Ye hopefully. But you do have more features like always on Siri, 3D touch. That will drain the battery more. To be fair only been confirmed on the 6S so maybe as the 6S Plus is bigger it will keep the same sized battery.

Really hope the rumours of 2gb ram is true. Annoys me so much having everything reload every time I change app or switch tabs.

Yeah me too hoping for 2GB ram also i think it woukd make the iPhone 6S/+ future proof for many years to come and we wont see a 3GB RAM upgrade for quite sometime

If someone had something delivered on Saturday then they were lucky. Apple does not pay the premium for Saturday delivery and UPS typically won't deliver on Saturday unless they get paid for Saturday delivery. It's not likely anyone will get their phone delivered on Saturday.

Last year I just missed the release day delivery on the Friday. My iPhone 6 landed at East Midlands Airport early Saturday morning and UPS delivered it at 0830 on the Saturday.

Couriers seem to be very helpful when it comes to Apple launches. If only it was always like that!!

Well it must be a pretty good contract!! Thank god they don't use YODEL!

yeah i'm mad...all talk right now though. Might not be arsed but least I know i won't fall asleep when I get home around 6.20

funny thing is was planning a gym workout on my break at midnight haha...

The excitement will fuel a good workout. I once went to gym v v early as was so excited to be getting keys for new house. Gym staff did a double take as I never go in the morning.

Does anyone know if the pre orders can only be made by using a credit card/debit card or will the apple finance option also be available? Looking at the 6s + but £700 is a lot of cash to pay up front.

I would imagine Apple Finance will also be available at checkout. I've never pre-ordered from Apple themselves (I upgrade through Vodafone) but I can't see why they wouldn't offer it via Barclays Partner Finance/Paypal Credit. If you can choose BPF at the checkout I'd recommend that over PP as PP charge 17.9% APR (compared to 14.9%).

I had an Apple leather case for my 5s - it was very pale and was really dirty looking within weeks. Worst Apple purchase ever. I know there were loads of complaints about them at the time. Never the 6/6+ cases better in terms wearing?

Had the brown leather case on my 5s which looked pretty bad after a few months but I've got the dark blue on my 6 and that still looking in good shape

Not been a fan of the silicon cases before but I like the look of the stone colour case on the space grey 6s+

Day off tomorrow however I will do what I done for the watch launch... Set my alarm for 7:59 and reach out for my phone to get on the app and press like crazy! Hopefully I'll be successful like the watch launch too!

Hi

Bit worried!

When Apple watch went on sale very few people who pre ordered at 8:01am (or whatever the time was) got their watch on the launch day. In other words Apple didn't have that many watches available on launch day (at least in terms of the number of customers). Is this likely to be repeated with regards to iPhone 6s?

I really hope not. I have bought a new iPhone at every launch and never had an issue, always got to the phone on the launch day. Just wondering if things are changing.

Alex

To be honest I ordered my 6 Plus last year on "launch date" w/Vodafone and received it a week later. This time there's a 13 day period between pre-order and shipping so I can't help but feel Apple have ramped up production so more people get it sooner.

At lunch time I think I will call up Marks Bank to get them to allow a £700 payment tomorrow. Biggest payment that has gone on that card has been my car service which was £170. Doubt they would allow a big payment to go through without checking it first.

If I have time I will call up Three and ask for my PAC code. Have no intention of leaving but no harm in asking for my PAC code. Just runs out in 30 days. Do need more minutes as only have 200 with unlimited texts and data. I have been known to use a lot of data. Think I somehow managed to use 21GB in a month. Literally didn't connect to my wifi at home as my room gets dodgy signal. Still a lot of youtube and (at the time) Spotify though haha.

Worth speaking to three they might offer you a deal to stay if you ask for your PAC code. From experience they look at your traffic and try and encourage you to stay before they give you the PAC. Once they give you the PAC there is not a lot they can do to keep you.

I think I'm on the same tariff as you. Pay £15 for unlimited data & text and 200 mins. But again I need more mins and the jump in tariff is going to be £7 and I don't really want to pay them that much more.

Is it always UPS for release day iPhones?
I've ordered accessories on the store before and they've been DPD.

Always busy here even throughout the night

people need their crisps
Lol I'm a nurse on a psychiatric ward so I always want to have quiet settled nights where all my patients sleep. I'm working a night shift the night before launch day so I plan on going straight to the Apple Store and waiting until it opens. It's in a shopping centre (Westfield) which will be closed overnight so that kind of prevents people from camping out over night.

Ye we are on the same tariff got it last year just before getting my 6 plus. I'm on a one month rolling contract. I will use the O2 deal of 20gb or 30gb as my bartering tool. Even if they offered me unlimited three to three minutes that would help as my sister has that and whenever I am on the phone to her we always talk for ages. Usually get her to call me back so I don't use my minutes up.

Thanks for answering! I've mostly been rocking a cheap plastic imitation of the Apple leather case in brown. I'll see what the Spigen cases look like for now but might get a dark Apple leather case later.

Am going to do the same with EE today - but really to see if they will better my current sim only deal that is about to expire. Want them to match the Three £11 per month tariff with 2GB data, 200 mins and unlimited text. That is all I need as have wifi at home and in the office.
