Anyone else thinks the vibrations in the 6s plus are very subtle?
Defiantly doing reserve and collect next year. It's so simple and straight forward. So I'm now in possession of a 6s as I reserved and picked one up this morning from Bromley. Still undecided about keeping the 6s+. The one handed use is bugging me. Given we've now also got that pseudo back button in the top left of the screen to jump back to the pervious app.. I can't reach it one handed without feeling the phone is going to drop out my hand.
On reserve and collect. I'm definitely doing this next year for the 7. So less stressful and easy to walk into store and grab what I need
Defiantly i prefer it to the 6plus I've got.Anyone else thinks the vibrations in the 6s plus are very subtle?
Yeah the + is a monster. I could never get another phone now that I've gotten used to the battery life on the plus.Have to say the battery life on the + is just insane... I fully charged it yesterday at about 5pm and have been using it quite a bit since then, 5 hours of usage according the battery monitoring thing and a good 18 hours standby. Still nearly 70% battery life left.
Yup that's just an additional action I need to take to do something I want to do quickly.Try double tapping home button to use "reach" feature?
Yes the vibrations feel different to the 6 plus. More gentlyAnyone else thinks the vibrations in the 6s plus are very subtle?
Urgh,
Essentially, preorder in store with EE. iPhone 6S Plus Space Grey and an iPhone 6S Rose Gold. Got told in-store it was the Rose Gold that would be difficult to source on Launch day and the Plus would be fine. I was alright as the Rose Gold was for the other half (she was not impressed). Turned up yesterday, advisor explained they'd only had 6S's in and all colours available, even enough for walk ins. Heartbroken. Went round every phone store I could find, only got told the same thing regarding the Plus. No one will have any till mid-October, only flagship stores in London for Carriers were able to get stock blah blah blah.
Flashforward to this morning, got a phone call from the store, they've had 2 6S Plus in this morning and wondered if I'd be able to make it in today before 2.
I've already got my coat on![]()
Exact same hereThe other issue I have with my 6s that would prevent me from keeping the particular handset I got sent was that the sleep/wake button feels very soft and spongy also slightly sunken into the body on the bottom side of the switch. The same button on my 6 is very firm with good feedback and a satisfying clicking action.
Oh! I wonder if Apple redesigned the switches for the 6s so that they aren't as clicky?? If so then that is a bad move as the switches don't feel as durable compared to my 6. Can anyone else confirm how the sleep/wake button feels on their new handsets?Exact same here

Sounds like a bit of variation between handsets regarding buttons, all the buttons on my 6 feel the same nice and clicky & solid, on the 6s I got all 3 buttons have a different feel to them.Mine (plus) feels fine. Nice solid click. The volume buttons are a little less clicky but I think that's a good thing. I found using the volume button to take photos on the 6 Plus a bit too stiff and it was making the phone move as the shot was taken.
I would only my nearest Apple store is 90 miles away!I missed the 6 and came from the 5s but my sleep/wake.button feels as solid as ever so no complaints here.
If you're concerned maybe go Apple Store and feel the display models?
Is this the new refresh 30gb contract? I got it but thought the insurance didn't cover theft? Maybe I misunderstood?I get accidental damage, 2nd year warranty, theft and accidental loss all included in my O2 tariff. Unlimited accidental damage claims with £55 excess. Not sure how that compares to AC+
I have AC+ on my watch and Air 2
