well mine did arrive in the end, all I can say is wow it's nice coming from a nexus 5 :p
Awesome!

I'm very happy with mine so far, no issues with the hardware and it's a TSMC. Not using a case or screen protector, it feels great in the hand. Really happy!

I came from a Nexus 6, so it's slightly smaller, but much better in the hand.

good to hear you are happy with yours, mine is in perfect condition, seriously not a single defect on the thing, it is a Samsung but as far as I'm concerned I'm still getting up to twice the power of last generation in a phone with a smaller battery but the same battery life, honestly it seems pretty hard to drain the thing!, it's still on it's first charge and looks like 2 days should be pretty easy with no attempt to save battery life and if anything I've been using it far more then usual and it's paired to a apple watch, no lag or freezing or heat issues here so I can't really complain :)

I did buy a glass screen protector for mine which somehow I managed to get on perfectly but for now I'm not using a case, might do in the future though as I nearly dropped the phone when I picked it up this morning and it was freezing cold as it was 4'C and I had the window open, these metal phones get pretty chilly :p

If you reserve online it shouldn't be a wasted trip :D

Phew. Just got back after a full lap of the M25. 6s+ space grey 64GB and black silicone case. Cheeky beggars still charged me 5p for a carrier bag :D you'd think expensive items would be exempt for security reasons rather than walking down the street just waving an iPhone or MacBook around.

is it possible to drain the battery on the plus model? :p

if my Samsung chip is inferior then the TSMC must be nearly immortal because the battery life is insane on this thing, I'm trying to overuse it to judge heavy use without trying to conserve battery life at all, in a way I would never use it and it looks like I should still get 2 days out of the thing!

I've gone from 50 minutes of screen on time on my Nexus 5 to what should be 10 hours+ on my 6S+ over two days or more, if it continues at this rate then it should be more then that.

it's really really impressive

I got bored of waiting for my iPhone to arrive, I was able to reserve a RG 128GB 6S+ in Covent Garden, so I cancelled my order.

As a straight male I don't find the rose gold too pink and I'm very pleased with the color. I upgraded from the 6+ which had become laggy after iOS9, this phone is buttery smooth and great, you can deffo feel the weight difference especially if holding both phones at the same time.

The front facing camera is a very noticable difference, the back camera not so much until you actually zoom in where you can see the detail (so should be better for print) I did notice the colour seems slightly less saturated then the 6+

I am lucky enough to have the TSMC processor, and I did a concurrent battery test for an hour where I did all kinds of things like running games, having the flash light on, streaming video, using the camera and video camera - the 6+ ended up with 80% battery and the 6s+ ended up with 91% so I was really happy about this as I was expecting it to be worse.

I've uploaded some pictures I took while in London, the first two were taken with the square camera, the rest with the regular one.

I was only in London for a few hours including eating so all the photos were pretty rushed.

My terrible battery life over last 2 days, full charge overnight. Always have a 4g signal or wife. Bluetooth turned on purely for the car, location services off. 1st pic is end of yesterday, 2nd and 3rd are today so far.

I've literally turned everything I can off but even I notice when I'm just texting the filled in grey arrow will appear... tried restarting etc, nothing.

So what apps are using it? Gray just means it's been used in the last 24 hours, check in Settings - Privacy - location settings.

Doesn't help that you aren't showing the heaviest usage apps by only taking a screenshot of the bottom portion of the page, what apps are using the majority of the battery? Do you have Facebook installed?

Where are you from if you don't mind me asking? I was seriously tempted to head in from Reading for the 128gb 6S+ too. Just can't take this waiting!

Facebook is only used via safari, use various apps including youtube, twitter, sky news plus all the ones visible from the pics. have tested it against my 2 year old 5s and the 5S has better battery life. As you can see have lost another 10% in last 2 hours.

... And more than 10 RG 128gb 6s+
Thanks for pointing this out. With the 2 year guarantee I think I'll order from them!

Edit: Ordered the 128GB RG 6S+ from John Lewis, collecting in store on Thursday! Woo!

You still aren't showing your heaviest use in apps, but if YouTube is at the top with 4 or 5 hours of use your battery stats wouldn't be that bad.

Had my first full day with my 6s+ after being delivered from Giffgaff yesterday. Here's my battery stats, of course Facebook is hogging the battery. Any good? This was after charging it from 0% to 100% and with Low Power Mode enabled at 20%

Beaconsfield, so London, Reading amd Watford and all equally far from me! Covent Gardens was the only store which had RG 128 6S+ on Satuday morning and that was after a lot of refreshing so I snapped it as soon as it became available.

My order was supposed to come in from 29th October - 5 November, which is stupid - figured it was worth the cost of going down to London to get almost a month extra usage out of the phone!

Glad I could help someone out. So tempted to return mine and get one from John Lewis (for the 2 year warranty), but will probably be too much hassle.

My order was scheduled for delivery same dates as yours! I'm glad you got yours though!

I just ordered from John Lewis, as much as I wanted to go into the Apple Store and buy it I couldn't wait (2 year guarantee isn't bad either)!! Delivered to store tomorrow :) same model as yours too! Hope it's good!!

Do people not manage to get 2 years warranty from Apple? I'd expect considering the cost of the item that the sale of goods act would be on your side if there was a fault in the second year
