It could have been worse I suppose !!

I've received a very good quote (almost too good) from Green Cycle for my current iPhone 5s 16gb. £160! Despite the fact that mine has a few scuffs. As long as it works, that's all they're interested in apparently.

I was looking at the iPhone 6 Plus on their site but it is showing as 0.00 :-(

Yeah I want to sell my 6 to them but unsure whether they're a reputable company or not.

That is pretty good considering my Unlocked 32GB 5s is quoted at £191.

why?[/QUOTE]
I suspect, as seems to be the case each year (particularly with CPW), the carriers oversell what they actually end up getting delivered to store. I'm pretty sure as the 25th approaches there'll be people posting who have had their dates put back. Happens every year and is yet another reason why I will never ever purchase a contract phone again! (Unless they get silly cheap in which case I'll have to review!!)

Upgraded on launch day last year on o2 with no problems and received the device on launch day, don't see why I wouldn't get the same this year unless I was told otherwise.

Thanks. I've been holding off because I'd rather they didn't put a hold on the full amount this year. Margins are a little tight but payday is the 21st. If they're only putting a £0.00 test charge on, that is very tempting...

No problem, it's strange normally they take £1 out. They don't normally take the full amount until it ships, so you should be fine with purchasing one on a debit card (if you feel ballsy ;) ).

Apple put a hold for the iPhones by charging the full amount on your card, but after a few days its released, then you are charged when it ships.

I can see a hold for the amount in my account and balance is less, but that will drop off by wednesday if not tomorrow!

Same thing happened when i ordered Apple watch!

Guys can someone confirm if my phone is unlocked as I purchased from CPW?

Last time I bought from CPW it locked to the network of the first SIM put in the phone. I had to get it unlocked by said network. For that reason I would put a SIM of the easiest to leave network in.

I have just checked on Apples website and in the iPhone section it has "about iPhone delivery dates"

If the Order Acknowledgement email for your iPhone 6s or iPhone 6s Plus says “Delivers 25/9 in most areas”, then your iPhone will arrive on Friday 25 September* unless you live in one of the postcode districts below:

Unfortunately I do live in one of the postcode districts labelled here. So my phone from Apple won't arrive until the Monday
Got a link?

It says my phone doesn't even exist. Will only allow you to put in iPhone 6 Plus at 128GB. What's that about? Doesn't seem like a reputable company for resell...

I'm starting to doubt my pre-order and I've never felt like this before. I'm struggling to get excited about the new iPhone because it just feels...the same. With an iPhone 6 Plus, I don't know whether I would be better suited to just wait it out for the iPhone 7 at this point. But it's about whether I could cope with not having the latest and greatest. :p

Do I need to pay to unlock? Must I do this through o2?

Stock update:

Had a little look at the stock on Apple site.

6S is available online on plenty in stores.

6+S 16GB available in some stores.

6S+ in 64GB and 128GB is sold out everywhere online and in stores!!

Looks like those trying a 6S+ for first time if you feel it is too big or not for you then no problem getting a 6S in any colour except rose gold!

Yes O2 will unlock your phone for free no probs but normally they dont offer unlocking for about 6 months, ive heard once you pay the full refresh plan basically pay phone off they will unlock or offer it to all after 6 months

Oh damn...
I was unaware of this myself until I went to order last years phone from CPW, and was told that only Apple sell their phones without any locking restrictions. I cancelled my order when I found this out, because I wanted the true flexibility of a iPhone I can put any network SIM card in. I think Apple is the only company that do this with their phones. Unlike Samsung,Htc,Sony, etc. Wherever you buy these branded phones from, they are all sim free.
