I posted about these cases on another thread but basically I ordered the liquid crystal one and was deeply disapointed. Sent it right back for a refund. The quality was rubbish not even worth 10p and the case size to me fitted my 6 so I wasn't even sure if it would fit the 6s.

I hated the hybrid crystal clear too. I can't stand TPU now, I'd rather get another Apple silicon case.

Just received the Apple silicone case today, feels really good quality and nice (non-slippy) texture.

Yepp, I'm using the silicone case on my 6 right now and really like it but I wanted to see if I could find a clear case that I would be happy with but no luck. Apparently it was the best but I just don't like it.

Ordered the iPhone 6S Plus 64gb on Saturday, managed to sneak in on time for the release date. Enjoyed catching up with everyone's updates.

Apple silicone case, in white, has just arrived! Seems silly to state but it feels like a big phone, currently have an iPhone 6 64gb so as others have said not a huge jump.

Can't wait for all the posts on release day, it's great fun watching as each persons phone arrives.

Or... Sometimes the occasional drama of something going wrong too.

Day booked off. I work from home so probably don't need to, but then again want to be able to spend some alone time with the phone when it arrives.

Don't judge me.

I'm not judging anyone that chooses to book the day off for iPhone launch day, In a way it makes sense if you need to be home to collect the parcel and after all everyone here just wants to get there new phones.

Well I'll be working :( but I have a week off a few days after. I'm thinking about leaving it in its box till I can properly have time to set it up etc

So Spigen saying 6 and 6+ cases are not compatible with the 6s or 6s+.

Just wondering of the interim case I bought is going to fit then. It's Spigen and the it states Plus in the title.

Guess they're selling s+ cases already?

The actual one I want isn't available until the 30th.

When did Spigen say that?

Ive ordered quite a few cases for 99p which said compatible with 6+ and 6s+?

Now they say they are not compatible so i may have cases which wont fit?

It fits my 6 perfectly so I don't think it's going to fit the 6S they're just a con and have got it all wrong saying its for 6 / 6S...

Someone emailed them. They stated that the new 6s and 6s+ are backwards compatible. The current 6 and 6+ are not going to fit on the new phones. I guess my confusion (along with others) is that the ones available on Amazon are marked up as being new and for the 6s+.

Managed to get this deal:

iPhone 6s 64GB Space Grey

Unlimited texts/minutes/6GB data

£129 upfront, £39/mo

I could probably book the 25th off myself for to wait for delivery... BUT "Murphy's Law" would mean that the phone would arrive after 1.30pm!!!

If my phone arrives on Launch Day (which isn't likely due to location not Apples fault) then the people who usually deliver come into my street at around 18:00 so if I took the day off I would just be a wreck waiting about!

I will then have the whole weekend to play with it (if it arrives on the Friday but again unlikely)

So when everyone is enjoying their brand new iPhones, please take a moment and think of us country bumpkins who are waiting until Monday !

Apple Care. So I can purchase this (within 90 days?). Do you guys see this as an alternative to the standard insurance (and the usual excess you have to fork out)? It's £100 for Apple Care + right?

Just called Apple Store Bullring asking about early reservations. They said they keep the phone reserved for about half an hour after your slot and that people should get there about 5 mins before their allocated time.

60 I think

I will just stick with normal insurance as buying my phone every year I don't see much point with it

Does your normal insurance give you on the spot repair/replacements?

That's the real USP of AC+ for me.
I'm going to get it through my bank so I still need to see what it covers. Apple care is useful but I've never had an issue with damaging my phone. And the price is alot

I know I'm almost begging for fate to do something nasty, but since I owned a 3gs I've never had an issue with anything related to iphones I've owned. Got insurance through my bank for current one. £100 for peace of mind isn't too shabby I guess.

Thing is least you don't have to do it straight away. You have 60 days to sign up which I think is pretty good
