I have issues with network connectivity on my O2 iPhone 7S - huge issues - not connecting / connecting hanging / slow - O2 v25.0 IOS 10.0.2. Sometimes switch to airplane mode and back fixes it - other times it does not. (Bought from Apple direct)

I think all these issues are part of the same bug. People on EE, O2, At&T and others have all been complaining about similar issues, it just seems to be worse on some networks than others.

Sometimes when my 7 plus drops back down to 3g the connections is incredibly slow i.e. 2g speeds, and then turning airplane on and off or restarting the phone fixes it. Hopefully a patch will come out soon.

Nothing coming guys .. 3 are not even acknowledging the issue

Three are acknowledging the issue. I have an open case (along with reference number) with them, and that has been linked to Apple's open case where Apple have confirmed that their engineers are working on the issue and working with Three.

Additionally others have had the issue acknowleged to them by Three and/or Apple and Three have acknowleged the issue on their Twitter accounts.

All of this info is in this thread. Now you may have spoken to someone at Three who was unaware of the issue and hasn't acknowledged it to you - but that is wildly different to what you have posted.

If you end up speaking to India they will tell you nothing. They just go by a script which is to admit nothing, blame it on a temporary network issue at the moment and tell you to remove your sim

Fact of matter is I and others have seen or heard Three UK confirming there's an issue and they are working with Apple on a fix. Just because others don't get that same response doesn't mean we and other are making it all up. Have some patience and see what comes out over next few days.

I'd expect a new carrier update personally.

net work team said.. no official complaint received yet

Network team told me the backend are working with Apple and it'll be a carrier update or an iOS 10.x.x update. Confirmed they'd had many people with the issue. Many others in this thread have confirmed the same. You're running on duff information.

Lets try and keep this thread on topic rather than discussing Three's technical team locations etc, this thread is very useful for finding out information on topic and one that has been passed to both Three Technical and Apple Engineering.

Thanks Guys!

no fix yet

We won't get a fix! The iPhone 7 doesn't have the antenna bands like the other iPhones.
People complained how ugly they were so apple have reduced them and it's come at the expense of a weaker signal and causing 4g to roll back to 3G and 3G rolling back to 2g and so on.
Get use to it, there isn't going to be a fix and apple wont admit to what they have done.

Antenna bands still there. Just relocated!

The 7 only has 1 antenna band on top and one on the bottom, where as the 6/6s has 2 on top and 2 on the bottom. Stronger signal perhaps with two on the top and two on the bottom ?

No way Apple or indeed anyone is going to risk a worldwide class action due to signal issues. Even "antennagate" was a hyped up self-created problem by grasping and iPhone so tight your hand went blue!

The issue here seems to have come about as a result of the carrier update in my opinion which means it's a software issue. The fact 3 acknowledge an issue suggest they have culpability or else they'd be pinning the blame firmly at Apple's door to ensure they aren't tarnished with the bad publicity.

Manually select another network and then go back to 3 and that works for me for a while.

You are talking rubbish I'm afraid. Once it switches to 3G 4G never comes back without intervention so it's not the antenna.

I've the same problem as all of you :-( have tweeted 3 support just advised remove sim blah blah blah. Mine was purchased from an Apple Store and used my sim which used to be in my 6s. Hope a resolution is coming soon

Fingers crossed I haven't experienced this, well at least yet.
My phone was from Three as an upgrade, a 128gb plus if that makes any difference.
I haven't been out much as I have been ill and only got the handset on Friday but so far it has swapped between wifi, 4g and 3G as I would expect and as was happening in my 6S plus.

I've tweeted three support today and they have replied telling me that they are aware of the issue and are working with Apple to address it, in the mean time rebooting the phone will temporary fix the issue (until the phone changes masts then it will revert back to 3G).
(iPhone 7 256Gb using the same Sim from my old iPhone 6)

What you'll see is that after a couple hours or a day in an area you get 4G, it won't pick it up.

Doesn't matter where you got it from. It's a software issue on Three's end, which is why they've said they're working on a fix and liaising with Apple. It's going to be fixed by either a carrier software update or an iOS 10.x.x updates just have to be patient and rationale, unlike some in this thread.

If you're having the issue and you've not spoken to Three, call them, explain the issue, confirm you've tried taking SIM out and putting back in, that you've tried turning mobile data on and off, reset network settings and they only resolve temporarily. Ask to speak to the network team, state you've seen many people with this issue talking to their twitter team. They'll confirm what we've said they've said on here.

Hi. How do I see the rest of threes response. It's cut off?

Click on the guys tweet who the response is to and you'll see the whole conversation.

I've spent a long time on the phone with an engineer at Apple several times giving him info and data logs etc. They're trying to collect as much data as possible from people and was told yesterday they hope to have 10.0.3 out in a week.
