for me the important thing isn't having to reset the phone everyday. Its more the fact ( if true ) that the 7/plus wont connect to the 800mhz band at all

I doubt that's the case, as the both the phones with the Qualcomm and intel modem are listed as supporting all the same LTE bands, and Apple would have to have specifically disabled the feature in the Qualcomm modem if it didn't want it. Additionaly if it is the same issue as those on the Verizon network are having then it must be affecting not the intel and Qualcomm modems and so it must be a software/network issue.

Also for what it is worth on the three website it list the iPhone 7 as supporting the supervoice network.
[doublepost=1475158109][/doublepost]Looking more and more like a software problem as I have just seen this thread talking about a similar but not as bad issue for those on EE:

yah I didn't mean it does not support it more that currently on three its just not working.

ps love the fact that just above my post is an advert for three advertising iPhone 7s

Pretty sure Verizon models have the intel modem too. I think it is only the sprint models that have the Qualcomm modem.
This is incorrect.

Only three comments on the EE 4G issue so maybe not really an issue. One of the changes made on the 7 compared to the 6 and the 6S are related to the antenna. One has to wonder if its another Antenna problem.

Hi Folks
I've been a silent reader of this thread since page 1. Just to say I'm having the same issue with my 7 Plus on "three"
Hope a solution is found soon as it's severely p***ing me off!
Ironically I just changed from Vodafone when I got this new phone because "three" were cheaper and better signal for me.
Here's hoping I don't live to regret it!

A fix is coming. Just gotta be patient. The downside to networks not getting to play with a handset before it's released to the public.

I hope my iPhone 6 issue is also related to this. As I said earlier, I'm having the exact same issues on my iPhone 6. Only just switched from O2 to Three last week.

Currently got 3 bars of 4G but can guarantee within the next 20 mins or so I will be getting 3 bars of 3G and won't get 4G again until I switch airplane mode on and off.

I think it's a different issue, as I never had it with my 6 or 6S and there's not been any other reported issues with the 6 or 6S.

Hi all, thank you very much for the information received so far, i have also been watching this post increasing with upset people.
I had an iPhone 6 which has worked flawlessly on 4G, only when i went to the 7 plus did i get the issue.
Unfortunately the wife decided she wanted to finally have a smartphone and i donated this to her (also on a 3 contract).
Her new sim went straight in and straight to 4G and is still there after a week!!!!
I have had on and off success with the 7 and appreciate that this is a 3/apple issue, but i thought i would give a little success that i had.
I set the 4G to data only and restarted. it came back with 4G but every time the phone rang it instantly changed to 3G.
From then on it was hit and miss, sometimes after the call finished it changed back to 4G other times it took a couple of hours but seemed to work.

Just to add to the consensus; my 7Plus can't hold a 4G connection on Three. My house is covered in strong 4G signal, my 6Plus would get 4 dots of signal and pull 40Mb down. Sat here now on my 7Plus I have 3 dots of 3G. If I reset network settings it'll pick up 4G again but lose it after some time (not sure what triggers the loss)
This is just adding to my underwhelmed feeling with the 7. I enjoy the extra interface speed but otherwise I'm not sure I'd be fussed going back to the 6Plus. I find that crazy.

So I received my iPhone 7 on launch day (16th). It's still unopened.

Just wondering if I should ask for an extension of the return period. I suppose I could be unaffected, but I'm in a supervoice area so seems unlikely.

Just kind of sucks not being able to take advantage of a service you're paying for for an unknown period until a fix comes out.

like I was told by the nice 3 customer service person yesterday. I am actually only paying for the 3g service . The 4g is a free bonus ( go figure )

That's what I was told too. However, I insisted and asked to open a formal complaint. They made an "exception" and credited me with £10.

Well I tell you what,if three can't deliver on 4g,how about they give us all our cash back and we move to a provider that can deliver on 4g..MR THREE how do you like them apples..down tools and walk out..

The only thing that stops me is Internation Roaming

It's only a bug. The issue will be fixed.

Curiously one of the 2 three networks has now been renamed to 3 (3G). That one is also the one which doesn't work.

I spoke to 3 today , they had no clue about what I am saying .. just asked me to reset the phone and try new sim ..

This is a p*** take ..

Tell them you've done that and ask to speak to the networks team, that they are fully aware of this issue.

Just to add my two pence worth here. I'm a fully paid up member of the Apple Developer Program (so not some iPhone beginner). Previously I was using iPhone 6s Plus on Three UK without issue.

iPhone 7 plus, delivered on launch day, seemed to demonstrate the 4G issue from the box.

I'm now on iOS 10.1 developer beta 1 and carrier profile Three 25.5 as everyone else. Three's twitter profile indicates they are aware of the issue and are working with Apple to fix it.

In the manual network selection I'm frequently seeing 3 listed twice which I've never seen with any other network on any other phone since 1995! Sometimes if you try and access one of the other 3 options then go back I get 4G to work for a while but as I don't have time to sit and look at iPhone continuously I don't know how long it lasts until it drops back to 3G again.

But defo a major annoyance

It's the
