The most annoying thing about this is I can rarely get an idea of battery usage. As the stats aren't available after a reboot or reset. Anyone think it might not be sorted until the next iPhone?

Without any intervention mine has now gone back to 4G at work!

It does seem a very peculiar bug this one.

Not me. Expect it will be sorted in next fortnight. Neither Apple not cellular providers can afford the bad press lingering for too long without a fix released.

Anyone get a carrier settings update today. Both my wife and I got one but both iPhones still show Three 25.1, which they were on before the update notification. Very odd

Mines gone again :-(( might visit the Apple Store on Monday just to see how there knowledge is
[doublepost=1475844701][/doublepost]Ps how did you know you got new carrier settings ? Was it a text or how ?

It just came up as an alert when I woke my iPhone.

In that case three 26.0 is definitely not the fix we were hoping it was then :(

Ive still had rock solid 4G connection on 26.0, even travelling hundreds of miles in locations that always caused the phone to stick to 3G have been fine.

Strange how it seems to be varying for some people!

I've put the beta on last night and mine hasn't dropped 4G yet. I still need to try the GPS out on a run.

Be interesting to hear your results :) Definitely seems to have fixed it for me, at an absolute worst case scenario I've had to toggle airplane mode twice but thats about it and I've had to do that on my 6S before so wouldn't class it as a problem really.

Been following this thread for awhile now , has the modem firmware been updated in the new iOS beta ?

Can't say for sure as I'm not sad enough (yet :p) to have memorised what it was before lol it's 1.01.11 in Beta 2

I installed the beta version about 5 days ago after reading people's experiences on here. For me, this seems to have entirely fixed the problem, all my settings are back to normal and the phone is happily and quickly changing to and from 4g as expected. Not found any negatives so far! Finally for the first time since getting it, I'm happy with this phone!

I'm definitely seeing it connecting back to 4G, but not holding it well and sometimes, although connected to 4G, the connection is poor, either just acts like no data connection or is very slow.

The problem is not fixed for me, just a variation of the existing issue.

Looks like the beta has fixed it for me touch wood. 4G has switched to 3G as expected in a bad area and reverts back fine. Been for my first run with ismoothrun and the gps is a lot better. Track is a lot smoother and pace is more consistent.

I get 4G, no problem once reset my resetting last few days it's been better then it has been for a long while however probably still here still theee 15.1 however sometimes I randomly get this for around 5-10 seconds however nothing will load on it then it will switch to normal 3 4G OR 3G can anyone explaine what the difference is with this ? See picture attached

H, sorry for being dim but what are we're looking for in the pic?

How at the top for the network it would normally just say 3. As the network but will randomly change to 3 UK. Then say 4G but as I said will stay on for about 5 seconds but while that is on 3 UK. Nothing will load either. It's strange. Does seem to all be worse on 3 network though. Wife has iPhone 7 on 02. She not getting this same issue
