I think it is partly because it is much less noticeable if you are not in a supervoice area and in an area with poor 4g, or on wifi most of the time. I didn't notice the problem for a couple of days, and initially thought it was because three were doing some work on the masts in my area. It was only after a week that the problem really became apparent.

Ios 10.0.3 is out and updates modem firmware to 1.00.05 from 1.00.03.

Carrier profile remains the same

Don't think it's made any difference for me unfortunately.

Edit: Spoke too soon, I now have 4G at my house for the first time since getting the iPhone 7 and it's keeping its connection!

Get updated guys it seems to be fixed!

Just updated, and not seeing much difference at the moment. Used to get 4G in my house on my 6, only getting 3G on my 7 at the moment.

I have had 4G on the 7 at home before today, but it definitely seems iffy and comes and goes.

Has anybody been getting the same issue as me? I've had a new sim card form o2 so it knocks the possibility that it's a network problem. I seem to get the problem on 4G and have to force it down to 3G for it to work. It'll then start working randomly at some point later on in the day. A reboot does not solve this problem....

New public 10.1 beta. Modem firmware and carrier settings unchanged. Probably means they think they have sorted the problem now and this is the best it is going to get.

Seems to be working pretty ok to me now. Hard to tell if it is any better or worse than my 6 plus was. Get the odd issue where it gets stuck with no internet despite being in a place with good 3G/4g but a quick flick on and off with airplane mode fixes that, and had that issue occasionally on my 6 plus too.

I've had the same 4G issue on Three UK with a 7+. Updated to 10.0.3 but won't know if fixed until tomorrow as I have no 4G at home.

iOS 10.1 beta 4 leaves carrier at 26.0. Modem firmware 1.01.13.

Again at work I found my 7 plus "stuck on 3G" but if I turned 4G off and on again it climbed to 4G immediately.

So I remain of the opinion things are better but my no means sorted.

Interesting to see whether 10.1 beta 4 offers same fixes as 10.0.3.

Just an observation, but after a few hours of being back in the 6s everything seems so much better...Bluetooth connects no problem and parked car thing in maps works whereas with the 7 it was very glitchy

Not had any Bluetooth issues or parked car on Maps problems. Just the 4G connectivity issue.

Have just done the new update and have noticed a great improvement in 4G and also wifi speeds.
Will report back tomorrow once I'm out and about and in a supervoice area.

Just got to work 4G area, back to no 4G again, reset network settings, 4G is back, update hasn't fixed the problem

Just updated to 10.0.3 and so far, so good. 4G at home which was rare on the 6S and 4G at work constantly. A little too long to fix IMO but glad it *should* now be it.

Edit: I'm at work where there is full 4G VoLTE and I'm stuck on 3G. No change

No difference for me I don't think. I thought people were having success with a higher carrier number on the beta? I've done 10.0.3 but still on 25.1. I don't know if this solves the issue with 3.

Updated to 10.0.3 on Three with iPhone 7 Plus.

Still having same issue of not keeping 4G.
