Or
Still the same for me 4G lasts around 24hours and then disappears, turning the carrier settings from Auto to manual and back to Auto gets 4G back every time.

Or just leave it on manual, I did this last night, and it has persisted. Going out soon - see if it lasts. (I think i know the answer, but you never know..)

reset network settings seemed to get me back to connecting to 4G, but I still sporadically get 'Cannot connect to Mobile data network' (or words to that effect), despite me using the internet fine on the mobile connection!

Did have an initial solid period of 4G.

Now all morning so far, no movement from 3G again...

Hopefully fixed in the next few days...

Is it just me or has something changed/been fixed? Solid 4G on Three this morning without any intervention on my part. It has been like this since about lunchtime yesterday... Anyone else notice an improvement?

AFAIK I've not had any Carrier Update or anything else change at my end. No restart or anything...

Same here, I've been having 4G at work yesterday and today. Previously 2 days ago I rebooted and got a bit of 4G then it flicked back to 3G. Then yesterday I noticed it went back to 4G. Maybe they've done something?

You tried resetting network settings and all that?

I've tried everything and at best, anything you try is just a temporary fix ....

Mine isn't connecting what so ever now, can't even force it to connect.

Abit random!

Updated to 10.1 beta last night (Carrier is 25.5) and have had solid 4G all day today - but I think that's more to do with it being restarted, expecting the issue to pop up again but we'll see.

Yeah, seemed fine for me too but it soon started playing up again!
[doublepost=1474640578][/doublepost]I've noticed, I was briefly on 4G with 1-3 bars and every time is disconnects, my 3G connection is always a solid 4-5 bars. Maybe it's preferring that over that?

Let me know how it is on 10.0.2, I'm on 10.1 so won't be able to install.

Still going strong... 4G on Three in Edinburgh City Centre for 2 days now. Maybe a fix is being rolled out gradually. Fingers crossed everyone else gets this niggle sorted soon too.

Not in a 4G area at the moment so can't test but the carrier version is still 25.1 on 10.0.2.

I saw a reply from @threeuksupport on twitter 8 hours ago that they are working on a fix.

25.5 on 10.1 seems to offer no difference either so hopefully a fix soon!!

Three called me back again and advised because I've been getting perfect 3G signal ever since they advised me to disable my 4G, that's it's Apple's problem and nothing to do with them.

After I explained that they should be aware of the multiple reports only happening with th iPhone 7 the advisor placed me on hold. When he came back strangely enough an announcement had been communicated that actually it is a problem with Three and they're working with Apple to have a fix by next week.

He then agreed to refund me my next months bill.

I'm awaiting a call back from them, but if they say it's because I got 3G full strength, I'm going to make sure they know that's not the case.

Just adding my voice to those above. I've been nagging Three by phone and twitter but not had an admission of the problem yet. Just updated to 10.0.2; held 4G for about 10 mins before dropping. All the fixes described above are temporary.

Edit: Considering cancelling my contract within the cooling off period as I've had dealings with three customer service before and don't fancy having to repeatedly contact them until the service I'm paying for is actually available.

Three are still the best network and I've been through them all. Best speeds and the feel at home thing is amazing.

Having the same problem here. Looking at the forums and people are having the same problem with some carriers in the states. Hopefully it is just a software issue which will get fixed soon

I've just had three call me and they say because i get 4G for a while and can actually use the internet on the 4G that it is the phones fault and I should contact Apple.

This is despite it being unable to hold 4G.
