So once Apple hands it over to UPS, will it take them 1 or 2 days to deliver it? Seeing as we're all on standard shipping of 5-7 days. My estimated delivery is 10 Aug, but my days off from work are 8th and 9th! I want it on the 8th so I have two days to play with it :-D

Mine's showing the 10th as well. It seems the majority in this thread took delivery the following day.

Apple have this on their order status: "Tendered for Delivery"
Supposedly 48hrs prior to delivery though someone said they got theirs within 24hrs.

Where does it state that? My shipment status page estimates August 10 delivery and underneath it states 'In Transit to Customer - Shipment on Schedule'
In your Track This Shipment - the drop down that has the long W00XXX number gives you the detailed tracking log.
Out there the status was " In Transit to Customer - Shipment on Schedule" and it briefly changed. Now it's back to " In Transit ... "
I got my invoice emailed today ...
Does merging slow it down? I didn't think about separating the card and laptop on order, and now I don't want to change it and lose my queue position.

To everyone who's MBP came in on the OZ521 flight on 4th Aug - got my UPS tracking number for the delivery tomorrow ... the package is now in Tamworth (!?) - funny, had to travel all the way there from Heathrow and will travel all the way back, just to merge some iTunes card or Magsafe adapter. And I'm just 20 mins from Heathrow

Mine Changed to 'Shipped' on Thursday evening, got collected Friday, flew on the Saturday, cleared Customs on the Sunday, got merged at Apple yesterday & is with UPS today for delivery.
Still no update or change of details for me and still don't seem to be able to get the extra tracking information on my order for some reason. No pull down menus that I can see anyway.
Still showing in transit and due on the 10th but I've not had the billing e-mail either yet.

Have you tried tracking any deliveries to your postcode from yesterday to Friday on the UPS site? My delivery appeared before any updates on Apple's Shipment Status.

I've tried putting in all the numbers on the Apple tracking page on UPS and it just says can't find it.
Have to say I'm not impressed so far, I think I get used to next day delivery from Amazon and I ordered a cMBP with only the screen as a custom build and its still not here, quick it most certainly is not.
Am sure it will be worth the wait but its certainly not fast despite where its coming from.

Go to UPS here and select 'Track by Reference'.
Put your Apple Order Number in 'Shipment Reference', change 'Shipment Date Range' up to Friday, select UK as 'Destination Country' and insert your postcode (without any spaces).
Hope that works.

a. Apple has such huge demand that they do take time for the deliveries
b. Even Dell or HP take time for BTO/CTO laptop deliveries
c. The rMBP is actually cheaper than a similar spec'ed Dell - and the delivery time Dell quoted me was approximately the same - 2-3 weeks

Not great to plan when I need to work from home to get it either, ah well Apple and the tracking isn't perfect lets hope everything else will be....

What is the Estimated Time of Delivery on the Time Line tab and the Requested Delivery Date on the Events tab on the exp.o expeditors site?
Well I've found a number that works on that site my delivery reference No. and its says that the estimated time of delivery is today on the timeline.
On the Events the last thing is Request delivery date having been delivered to the consignee today.

This is a good question, I would like to see some more answers to get a good idea of this, because as it stands the estimate is showing it'll be 10 days which is pretty ridiculous... I would happily pay about £15 for a much faster delivery.
That's delivery to Apple.
That appears to confirm it is with Apple to be merged etc. and awaits collection by UPS. UPS should deliver the following day all things considered.
