How long after dispatch did delivery take?Well mine was delivered today, bang on time from the first day of the original estimate.
Took longer than I would like but all is working very well indeed.
So it seems my delivery estimate should be an overestimation. Unless it's the merging - did yours have to merge for gift card/other stuff?
I can't believe what just happened! I gave Apple a call about replacing my MacBook Retina due to light bleeding, instead of replacing it with the same unit I asked if I could get the 2.6 instead of 2.3Ghz cpu and offered to pay for the upgrade. After 5min on hold they offered the upgrade for FREE!

Just recieved an email update sayting it has shipped! Deliverey estimate 17th August, so 8 business days... Is it likley to come before that say, 4 business days? There's no UPS/TNT info yet, just "Syncreon Technology"... apparantley it takes 48 hours or less to get tracking info from a carrier.
expo.expeditors.com using the 8XXXXXXXXXX or something code, will keep you up to date until it reaches apple, then it should swap over to UPS.
From what I've gathered in this thread, delivery took about 3-4 days so I'm not sure what's up with Apples seemingly overestimations. I reeeeaaallly hope mine dispatches tomorrow! At least I'll be able to view changes happening, because I've been reading "Processing, dispatched 5-7 business days" Since Sunday...

They do seem to over estimate deliverey by quite a while... It's 7 acutal days, so in theory I could have it on Wednesday...
Yeah I hope you get it asap dude. They are estimating about 10 days for my delivery which is simply retarded.
They said mine shipped on the 1st, it actually shipped on the 3rd, and it was delivered to my house on the 7th, so you could be lucky

Are most people ordering the Retina Macbook Pro?
I bought my Macbook Pro normal base model one at 3pm on Thursday, and received it at 8.30 Friday morning. It was my first mac purchase and was very impressed especially as I thought it would take longer to add my Giftcard.

I guess that came from a stockpile in your country? Most of us are ordering RMBPs and they're all shipping from China so next day is near enough impossible.
In terms of tracking, will all the info be available on http://expo.expeditors.com or do people use other sites as well?

I guess it took yours about 24 hours to move to shipped? I hope mine's the same, even if it will be a Saturday

It moved to 'ready to shipment' about 10pm last night, shipped 3pm today.
