Confusingly it still says to be delivered 'by' tomorrow, even though it's out today.

Well, if it arrives today, then it will have been delivered by tomorrow :p

Don't forget to come back and post what you think about it for the benefit of those of us who still have another 2+ weeks to wait :(

Enjoy!

My delivery arrived in London (from Cologne) at 3am, and is apparently out for delivery today.

Same here. Mine went from Germany to Feltham via stanstead overnight.

Tracking shows arrival scan and out for delivery, but like you says by end of tomorrow. Should be interesting day to see if it does arrive.

Yes I suppose that's true :)

Enjoy!

I can imagine that would be annoying!

I'll post some thoughts, I'll also post some comparisons with my anti-glare 1650x1080 MBP 2010.

My route is identical to your except replace London for Feltham, oddly also at 3:50am.

I suppose the 3:50 time is just the time it left the Stansted depot. Feltham isn't far at all from central London, so I suppose it's just the name they decide to give the destination.

It's even worse waiting for it on delivery day. At least when it's making its way around the world you get updates.

Adding my order into the list. Ordered the night of the keynote.
Spec: 2.6ghz, 16gb ram, 512gb ssd.

Question: Any idea what the requested delivery date is about? Is that delivery date to the warehouse for sorting, or is that the date it'll be on my doorstep? I live in N.Ireland, so I'm expecting the 1/2 day delay for anything coming via England as normal. Apple saying my estimated delivery date is 25th...

It does appear the out for deliver was correct as it has just turned up on my desk. Now tha agonising wait for the day to be over so i can go home and unbox.

1.4 GB of updates straight away.

Taking 'about an hour', so assuming the update servers are heavily loaded today!

I'm not able to track my order at all
The only message I get is :-
Please Note: Your items dispatched from different locations and will be merged together before delivery. Once merged, your Order Status will be updated with carrier and tracking information (at latest 48 business hours before your estimated delivery date)

Fingers crossed the web site is correct and it will be delivered on Thursday

My RMBP is currently sat in Castle Donnington, UK. Tantalisingly close!

Through expeditors' tracking, mine says requested delivery date of today. But the Apple tracking has no further update from when it shipped on the 14th with a delivery date of 22nd. So I don't know what to expect. Would love it to arrive today but that seems doubtful.

Reliable tracking would have been nice. Not sure why some are able to track step by step and others, like me, aren't.

Apple supply - Yawn

The Apple Store, their staff are ANNOYING!

They still have no idea about in store deliveries. They are a computer and software company who have no clue of their logistics? It's either untrue or unacceptable.

I politely phone up and ask if they have them instore. Last two occasions (last was friday) I phoned I got a very sharp reply 'No'. They are obviously sick of answering the question but it's no reason to be short and abrupt with people wanting to give them money. If you dare ask when they are getting them in then they get all snooty with you.

They lied about shipping dates, they lied about instore availability and now they just don't say anything and if you ask questions they get grumpy with you.

A very frustrating and time wasting situation that I no longer have patience for. SORT IT OUT APPLE!!!!! In the very least be polite to your customers when they are being polite with you!!!!!!!

Same here.. Even I experienced the same thing!
I just can't wait to get my hands on..
I don't mind standing in line, camping overnight .. But they should have stocks! Every morning I go and they are like 'please give us a call tomorrow '
