"In Transit to Customer" and "Awaiting Customs Clearance" are pretty much the same thing. "In Transit to Customer" is a really general term which describes the time between shipping and arrival, which would include the time waiting in or clearing customs.

No, actually not for me since it's waiting at Czech customs (to get to the Apple depot).
Apple just "updated" my status to "Preparing handover to final carrier"...that somewhat sounds like a step back from "On transit to customer"...

Does anyone know how to track Goldstar? Apparently it's "Out for Delivery?" since 16:03...

I'm hoping they have staff there that are waiting to prepare these boxes for onward delivery to us. Maybe we'll get them tomorrow or the next day?

I've checked the forum and it appears that you're right. It also appears that the distribution warehouse runs until at least 7:30pm so maybe it might end up getting sent onwards tonight for tomorrow delivery although I think it's more realistic that they'll be out for delivery to us on Thursday, the day after tomorrow.
Hopefully the Apple tracking will take over with the final courier's details some time tonight or tomorrow.

Mine arrived at the distribution place y'day, I have had no movement on Apple's tracking page to update me with UPS tracking number today as yet! So don't hold your hopes for getting yours tomorrow!
Mine just changed to:
Delivery scheduled by final carrier, see estimated delivery date

So looks like despite arriving in London on Saturday they won't get it from Heathrow to South London until Thursday. Second time Apple has pissed me off recently (first was refusing to replace my broken logic board on my early 2009 17" which I was going to pay them to do due to a single missing screw meaning it had been 'tampered with' - they don't seem to understand how easy it us for these to come undone in standard use).

I got that change too. My date is the 23rd which is a Saturday, my initial date on the shipment email was the 22nd, The UPS here in N.Ireland don't normally deliver on a sat!

However i got an email invoice and also an email shipping notification yesterday and this states delivery to me will be 22nd'(Friday)
It left heathrow late this afternoon. I guess it will be at DC tomorrow (weds), prepared for shipping thurs, at mine Friday.
I assume the email shipping notification is the absolute commitment, as I have had that and it says 22nd then there's no likelihood of it coming before then?

I've also just got a UPS tracking info, it's just been picked up from Tamworth in the Midlands and is due to arrive tomorrow (one day before scheduled delivery). A bit infuriating that it arrived in London then was sent to the Midlands before being sent back to London, so much wasted transportation.
That's the same shipment mine was/is on. My date is still showing as the 23rd. I've had the invoice, and the initial dispatch email, but not one in the last few days confirming the delivery date.
It will take mine a whole extra day to get to N.Ireland unfortunately... I saw one in the store today. AMAZEBALLS!
I see these other guys have just been notified of actual shipment for delivery tomorrow. Happy for them, sad for me. I ordered at about 11pm on the evening of the keynote for a 2.6 with 16gb & 512ssd. Maybe that delayed it.
When did u order? I guess these other guys got in slightly before me to order and therefore get earliest delivery. Or maybe it's because mine has extra kit. Who knows?
Went to apple on Sunday and played with the new pro. It was simply exhilarating.......

So mine has just been delivered to Apple from Shanghai, got to them and 19:55 this evening, hopefully should be getting dispatched tomorrow. Apple's estimate was 22nd June which seems to be spot on at the moment.

Ordered the maxed out version in my sig 3 hours after the keynote ended on 11 June 2012.
Still stuck at "processing" and delivery estimate is 09-13 June 2012.
