Am I the only 3-4 week wait in here? I ordered last Monday so been exactly one week.

I really think that in another two weeks I will forget that I have even ordered one of these :p

Nope I'm still stuck there too! Ordered on the 18th and my delivery date is still 16-20th July.

No, there's me also. But my order has just in the last few minutes gone "Preparing for shipment". :D:D:D

I ordered at 6am on 13 June. Original ETA 12-18 July. 2.7/16/512.

That's good news, I ordered on the 14th with 13-19th as my estimate, so hopefully this means it might start moving within the next day or two!

Not sure if this helps people:

Ordered on the 20th
1x MacBook Pro 15" Non-Retina
-500GB HD
-4GB RAM
-Hi-res Glossy

Currently giving me a 'Processing Items' Estimated Delivery Date 2nd - 4th.

Well, Apple, this product launch is a right royal balls up. Looking at the other thread there are now people on 3-4 weeks getting theirs shipped while people on 2-3 weeks - and even 7-10 days - are still processing.

I got that fed up I even asked Siri when mine will be dispatched - he suggested a web search. Doh!

Really?! I ordered the same day... With the same ETA

Pllleeeeeeeease!

I'm here too! Ordered in the Apple Store on a one-on-one MBP on 13th at 9:30am.

I'm a Base with 16gb RAM upgrade. Hopefully they start shifting!

Anyone else with the same spec as me?

[EDIT] Preparing for shipment :)

Hi everyone, been lurking for a while now and finally registered.

I originally placed my order for the base rMBP on the 13th over the phone with Apple. I then phoned and cancelled my order on the 21st and placed a new order for the base model with 16GB upgrade :)
(The missus works for M&S and gets a discount, approx 8%)

On my original order I had a 3-4 week wait.
On my new order I have a 3-4 week wait :(
Delivery between 19th-25th July (my birthday on the 24th)

This will be my first Mac, though I already have a couple of Apple products already (iPhone 4 32GB & iPad 1 64GB 3G). I've been looking to get a Mac since last year, but I've waited for the latest models after reading the rumor on here about the higher res screens.

Has anyone's order who stated 3-4 Weeks with a delivery range between 12th-18th July either prepared for shipment or shipped?

Thanks

Can anyone also comment on the 8GB machines? It seems like everyone here has got th 16Gb models coming  Hope I didn't make a mistake?

I ordered an iPod in the same order (classic) with rMBP 2.6/16/512. Ordered afternoon of 12th. Still processing items. :-(

Do you think including the iPod slowed things down? Or will it ship to an intermediary then show dispatched later but be closer to the UK?

Hmmmm. Impatience building.

No. The iPod will be merged into the order once your MBP arrives in the UK - just like my TB-> Ethernet adaptor

BTW, I ordered the same spec as you also on the 12th (early evening) and mine is still Processing :(

Just a quick question for those in the UK, has anyone bothered with Applecare?

My rmbp should be here by the end of July and I haven't taken out Applecare, I was thinking about going with a separate gadget insurance company such as protect my bubble which will insure the mac up to £2000.

It's £14.99 a month but protects from loss, theft & accidental damage; along with the usual defects/failures. I'd primarily take it out for the accidental coverage which is the thing I'd be most concerned about with my lovely new mac :p

Any info on what people have done to cover their macs would be appreciated :)

I have heard very bad stories about protect my bubble for paying out or mobile phones so a laptop could be even worse.

Would it be easier to add your rMBP to your home insurance and ask for cover outside of home as well?
