Had an email at 9.25pm GMT confirming it was shipped so about 2 1/2 hours ago. Took my delivery reference, put it in expo and that's what I got from the event tab.

My order number is smack bang in the middle!!

Thanks. Must be on different flights as well as different pallets or I'd have flight info too. Looks like there more than one flight per day then. One left Shanghai at 22:00 BST tonight then there's yours and mine

Purchased mine from apple store in Meadowhall, sheffield.

Something to note, the AppleCare discount for students is now no-longer as drastic, (from 279 to 50) its a mere 30% off the 279, bringing it to about 180something.

Luckily, i had called for an education store quote a few days after it was released and they honoured that, thank god, it saved me 200 as the discount on the MBP wasn't as good also.

Paid 1580 for base rMBP, AppleCare, and the £70 gift voucher

If you look on the References tab on the expeditors.com page you see a list of Purchase Order Numbers. Mines the top one ending 969 which is the lowest. Does that mean it missed the previous flight (tonight) by 1 ????

Maybe. Either way it's now saying requested delivery date is 2nd. Which you said was your birthday right? Take it as a sign!!

Mine is on the same route but a day early. It's just left Almaty (presumably to pick up a pallet or two of pubis - according to the Borat film Kazahkstan is the world's biggest exporter!).

The original estimated time of arrival at LHR was this evening (when expeditors showed the same breakdown as yours above) but it's since been put back to Friday morning. It may be the date changes or that your pallet is going to overtake mine... or that yours is going to sit a bit longer than hoped in Frankfurt. Who knows!

I've seen a lot of people tracking their order on http://expeditors.com/ - do you just enter your order number or how does it work?

I know this is the UK thread, but here goes my info anyway:

Ordered the 15" base model rMBP 256 gigs - placed the order on Jun 12, 2012 at 18:00 PM. estimated delivery time window: Delivers 06 Jul, 2012 - 12 Jul, 2012 so i suspect it to be shipped anytime soon; still processing on the status page tho. Location for delivery is Denmark.

On the tracking page on the Apple website there is "Our Delivery Reference Number"

Enter that as "Track By Shipment Number" on expeditors.com and hit Search

Guess it depends on whether yours needs merging with other items - mine has to be merged with a £9 MagSafe adaptor

Mind you, cargo handling at airports goes on 24/7 so the fact it's a weekend perhaps doesn't make much difference (if no merge is needed).

From what I've read; all components within the rMBP are either soldered on or glued to the unibody to a state where they cannot be disassembled and upgraded.
