I think this thread is gonna go quiet once the majority of the june orders are done and dusted.
The Apple website still says it's estimated to be delivered tomorrow, but the UPS website says "Scheduled Delivery Updated To: Thursday, 05/07/2012, By End of Day", and it arrived in Glasgow at 7.18 this morning.
However, it doesn't say anything about having been loaded onto a van yet, and it's nearly 2pm. My door bell rang earlier today but I was in the shower and couldn't get out there in time, I thought maybe it was UPS but there was no card left, and the tracking hasn't been updated to say delivery attempted.
I still have a little hope for it getting here today, but it's waning

Well despite the tracker being a bit off, it has arrived!
1.4GB update took 2 minutes to complete on the university network, lol!

Edit: Looking at the page, Apple says out for delivery on the 5th. UPS says 'Destination Scan 10:30am' and then nothing. Thing is, it's at my local depot. At the top of the UPS page it says 'In Transit'. There's nowhere for it to be in transit to!!
Looking at the bottom tab on the UPS page it says Scheduled on the 6th. I give up.

Not me no I ordered mine on the 2nd of July so got even longer to wait.
Delivered at 11am. Now an hour and a half of work to get through and it will be at home witing.
Yes, it's amazing! I've yet to notice any lag, and the image quality is just superb!
The only downside I've encountered so far is that Office 2011 looks bad. Really bad.
I've no doubt you'll get yours today. My tracker had the exact same thing, I refresh it 5 minutes later and it said delivered.
As you said I don't think it's a good idea to give out my contact at Apple. He must already be annoyed by me pesking him on a weekly basis.
I order the base model and upped the ram 2.3/16/256 with education discount.
If it is supposed to move from preparing to ship within 48h, it must be happening anytime today!!!!
Apparently they are going to offer me some kind of an additional gift card because they made a mistake and wanted to make up for it as well. I just love Apple!

It just arrived!! Looks like the guy forgot to scan it onto his van, but he just showed up with my new rMBP and my £70 gift card!

Mine got delivered an hour after I left for work. Never said it was out for delivery anywhere. It's sitting waiting for me, patiently. Guess I'll be finishing work early tonight!!
Tried iWork yet? I was in the Apple store in Glasgow today, refused to have a look at the rMBP, lol. Cannot wait. You tried any games etc? Everything migrate across okay?

Does anyone know how much a base Lion / Mountain Lion OS takes up on a disk? On my Windows laptop at the minute so can't check.

Well, these MBPs are insanely fast and the screen image quality is insane, so I've called mine 'insanity'
My old MBP (now SWMBO's) is called 'braeburn' - because that is my favourite variety of apple BTW, dunno why someone down-voted you on your post
Anyway, I up-voted you to compensateHad my Retina MBP delivered today at 11am, it was sent out last friday and had to be merged with a student gift card. Took 6 days in all.
Been playing on it since I got back from work an hour ago, and it is incredible. I didn't expect to be that bothered because I have had plenty of time with the rMBP in Apple stores etc, but it looks so much better on your desk.
