Keep checking my order on a daily basis just in case something changes although I know 100% it's way too early for anything to happen.

I ordered mine on the 24th
I see people at the start of the week are being shipped, anyone from the 19th onwards having much joy?
I had a dream last night that the order went to shipped, but when I checked this morning it was still processing
I was slightly upset about it.

I think you should see a change in about a week as apple look to be up to around the 17/18th for shipping rMBP's out.
Thats what I'm thinking as well, however I'm hoping that the demand is like a bell curve and the orders shipping now are at the peak of the bell, so things should speed up. Oh well it''s in a race to be here before my new bed, i think the bed will win.
After having it for 24hrs, I'm just still amazed of the quality of the display, it's such a joy to use. It feels like the Matte display 17inch MBP, with the same screen estate & the non reflective screen, and smooth soft text on screen. It also feels so much thinner and lighter than the previous MBP than I expected, very easy to carry around. It really spent feel your carrying a 15" laptop.
Only downside is that I have to purchase an Ethernet adapter from the apple store today. It looks like you will need this once in a blue moon, I need it migration assistant.

Its probably part of a larger container. Mine stopped in Kazakhstan before Germany.

I ordered a 2.6 16gb 512gb on the 15th from Western Computers, I was told 2-3 weeks instore.
I have just received an email from the sales guy saying that the day after it went to 4-5 weeks, I know this is wrong as it was 3-4 weeks. But he has also told me he contacted apple and the status is Sent to manufacturing, I have been reading a lot of posts on this an other posts and haven't seen anyone mention that?
I also rang them on Wednesday and was told it was preparing to ship?
I haven't got a expected delivery date from them either, I am beginning to wonder if they messed up and didn't put the order in on the 15th!

Can you ask for a copy of the order to see when it was placed?
I have asked for an apple reference so I can check with them directly , but I'll probably get the sorry we can't do that routine!

Never ever heard of that and it's a weird thing to say as surely all orders are sent to manufacturing as they need to be built!
Alas, I ordered on the 14th and mine is STILL processing...!

Just remembered, it supports 3- and 4-finger gestures - my old one only supported 2-fingers duh!
Use BetterTouchTool (free on MAS) to customise them all if they're not to your liking as default... V good app.
After I was told its was preparing to ship on Wednesday, I was foolishly expecting the email I received today to say it had been shipped, not sent to manafacturing. I hate it when you get that feeling a cock up has been made and you are not being told.
Still 3 weeks down surely I'm past the half way stage...
Thanks. I've got Magic Prefs installed which is a similar thing, although the main issue is not that I don't like the behaviour, it's that I'd forgotten it even existed.
I actually find the default 3- and 4-finger gestures really useful, but I may tweak them sometime.
