iPod touch UK order status thread

Placed my order on the 13th and my delivery date is the 14th (which is a Sunday??) so I will have been waiting for over a month to get my iMac and iPod Touch, I just hope there worth it (first time buyer for apple).
 
another shipment of touches have just been dispatched from China,

I only ordered my touch 2 days ago from the online store and Apple said "prepared for shipment" yesterday, and "in shipping" today! :eek:

I thought I was going to have to wait about 3 weeks ...

called comet and they said they dont have much stock coming in yet, and mine is held as a 'preorder'.:confused::(
 
Attention but ARGOS are currently apparently stocked with 16gb and 8gb ipod touches with free delivery at £269

shipped by monday apparently :O
 
I have been following this thread for some time and just thought I would let you know I ordered a 16 gig from Argos on Wednesday and it arrived today.
 
you are so lucky then do u no when the 8gbs will be comin because i ordered it and then i got a letter sayin that it will come some time between 28th september and 12th october :( :(
 
Just got off the phone to Argos. They say Apple are being vague of when they will actually get them to Argos. Looks like those who ordered the 16GB touch will be lucky.. but no sign of the 8GB i'm afraid. Sad thing is Argos are still allowing people to order the 8GB models. What worried me was that she said that if it was going to be delivered beyond the 12th Oct date then they would call me... rubbish! :mad:
 
Whooooooooooooooo! Finally got 1!!!!

I cancelled my order from argos yesterday and so today i went to the trafford centre and was the first person in apple and they told me they had none and they didn't know wen they wud be getting anymore. So i tried currys and they had 2 left!!!!! 16gb!!!!

Thanks for being there through my all my waiting and i hope those of you that are still waiting get them soon x :)
 
Ordered my touch on a friday, said prepared to ship on the following Monday, next day on tuesday it was shipped, arrived 3 days later just after noon on friday, so only 3 days shipping from China :)
 
I ordered mine on the 1st of October and it arrived in the UK on the 4th, but after calling TNT they tell me they are delivering it on the 11th... that's not right surely. I'm not sure why they would hold it until then. :confused:

I wasnt expecting them to deliver it on time tbh. If you ordered a 16gb before this Wednesday though I would be asking Argos what they are up to.
 
does any1 no if trafford centre have got any 8gb ipod touch if so im gonna cancel my order with argos
 
Currys.digital have stock instore

Purchased one today in Aberdeen, Scotland. It was a week 38 with Macy Gray cover on box and I am compared it to my perfect week 38 iPod Touch from Apple that was delivered on Tuesday.

The results are in. The one purchased in store today also has a perfect display and passed all tests for dead pixels/negative blacks/grey gradients etc perfectly.

Go get one.

you got two just to compare the screen?

I really hope when I get my one it doesn't have the problems :eek:
 
hi, just ordered my touch form the apple store online (uk) and i just got my confirmation email on Sunday (today) and i added my order at 7pm friday, could someone please tell me my estimated time till it arrives (delivery is to the uk)

oh btw it does have a personal message and engraving on it.

Well they didn't have any at the apple store yesterday and told me they didn't know wen they would be getting any again. So i tried the currys there and they had 2 left so i dunno but if i were you i would ust go and have a look cos like me you could be lucky and get 1. Theres also a John Lewis there they may have them in?

Log into the Apple Store via the account button, then click Track Packages followed by Track this shipment on the desired order.

Write down your Carrier Tracking Number on the left hand side and put this into the Carriers website eg. http://www.tnt.com/country/en_gb.html
Oh and make sure you put YES to being an outside of the UK delivery.
 
My tracking number is bigger then what the TNT tracking page will let me enter, also I only have the tracking number on the Order Status page but no other shipper information when I click on the tracking number.





My tracking # is 18 digits in total but I’m unsure why I haven’t had my shipping information yet because it apparently shipped on the 3rd and now it’s the 7th
