Submit my first request and got deny lol. I'm on next and they said I haven't finish my payment. I chose current customer, should I try again with something else like not att customer or go phone?

just keep on trying again and again. I selected current customer and got mine unlocked.

I don't even think I can select go phone since I have a password on my account. Maybe I'll submit another request again just to see

Mine is now unlocked I paid off with portion of tax return, would like to Use with or switch to VZN. Am I able to just use a prepaid nano sim with it in VZN areas?
Figure would be to much of a hassle to sell and then re-buy buy a VZN 6+

I tried twice on my brand launch day 6+. The first request was denied. I tried immediately after the rejection (3 days maybe?) and it was approved.

I wiped my phone (I know that it's not necessary) and restored it. The message 'Congratulations your phone is unlocked' message appeared on iTunes.

I tried atleast 10 times.

10 times? You spread it out throughout those times. I've tried 4 times already and I've gotten the same message each time mentioning I haven't paid off the iPhone since I'm under AT&T Next.

I guess I'll try next week or so.

yeah try after sometime.

just tried the att unlock request. Got the confirmation email on my first attempt! I just finished restoring my iPhone 6 and the message "Congratulations, your iPhone has been unlocked" came right after!!

*just made my own account now to share this. for those who were denied, just try the day after, I'm sure things will work out!

Thanks a lot!! :):):)

wait patiently bro. just heard a friend of mine actually took about 30 attempts before he got it. don't do it all on one day.

Can you please suggest the best option which choose for unlock? There are postpaid / prepaid / non at&t and deployed.

I hope your area has good VoLTE coverage. If I remember correctly, the unlocked GSM phones are only good for GSM or LTE. If you have to use VZW's CDMA network, then you will be holding a brick.

I believe it has to be a pre-approved Verizon device (pre-approved meaning in their database before sold) in order to access the CDMA network.

Provided that the phone is in near perfect condition and since its unlocked, you should be able to get at least 90 percent of the purchase price of a new phone from selling it. Then you can go buy one unlocked from a Verizon store and be all set.

Actually since the 5s all the iPhones have the GSM and CDMA radios in them there interchangeable, just VZN doesn't have the imei in their system and won't all ow me to use it, the have better coverage in some areas I have to travel around here.
I hate the hassle of trying to get it sold on eBay to someone who won't claim it's dead or otherwise and if not then all the fee's you get hit with and trade in is about $500 now.

5S may have CDMA hardware, but the "GSM" version does not have CDMA enabled.

After trying multiple times on Tuesday without luck I gave up. Tried yesterday and today just got an email saying it was approved and to restore my device.

I am on a Next program!

I am still unsuccessful. In total, how many times have you tried? I've tried 8 so far.. Not sure what's the steps for success. I guess something in the system that overrides and grants the user it's request..

I tried probably over 100 times combined in the past 2 weeks and was not successful. I think at this point it's safe to say it doesn't work for me.

It's an automated message.. How those who was successful with getting their request granted is by random choice. Because as I watch these request numbers, they definitely rise each time I do an attempt to get it unlocked. So, there are plenty of people doing it... Which could be some glitch that cause it to work for some.

I tried a total of 5 times. 4 times on Tuesday were denied. Tried once Wednesday and didn't get immediately denied... Then Thursday I got the approved message.

So I've been trying daily on my iPhone 6 and it's a no go. Just for grins, I tried the Nokia Lumia 635 I got for $40 from MS during Black Friday which has never been used or activated, unlock request submmited and they unlocked it right away. WTH?
