That's interesting, the fact that it's vanished and then reappeared actually makes me more inclined to believe it.
If they launch it with Yosemite, it wouldn't be a 'mid 2014' model anymore.
So if this rumor is true, I assume the refresh is going to happen in August.
This maybe a stupid question so be kind:
What's the windows OS version reference all about in the top of the table?
The Retina MBP hardware packed into the Mini case would be nice.
Perhaps a redesign and US manufacturing?
Theoretically, could a Mac Mini be as small as an AppleTV?

I wouldn't be surprised if the Mac Mini looked like this lol. Actually, why not? What if Apple instead decides to create a Mac Pro Mini instead?
The normal MacBook Pro has not been updated since the same time and doesn't have a Haswell Processor either.
The page has been updated .
Doesn't list the mini anymore but still has a mid-2014 21.5 in. iMac.

Yay! I hope it has some decent graphics cards.
I think that 21.5 inch mid-2014 iMac is the low-end one that was updated in June
Don't hold your breath.
Seems like you need a Macbook Pro (15"), Mac Pro or iMac to get that.
My thoughts exactly. In the long run, would it save Apple money to adapt Mac Pro's chassis to the mini than to continue using and milling a distinct mini enclosure? And would it make sense for a low-margin product?
Doesn't it already have USB 3?Been wanting a Mini for about a year now. I just hope it has the Iris GPU (I know we won't see nvidia in there), an i7 2.8 GHz (or faster) configuration, and USB 3...
And for the life of me I've no idea why. I love my 2012 Mac mini, but it'd have to be something VERY special to have been worth waiting this long for a 2014..

If there is a refresh, it'll probably have Iris Graphics, 802.11AC, Thunderbolt 3, cheaper or standard SSD, and some sort of a redesign.
Well, I'll be darned. I thought it was still USB 2! Thanks for pointing that out![]()
