And the new picture has both a sky and a lake in it...
We might be seeing what we want to see :)

Seems like some of you should be detectives as your day job. Would never have noticed that small detail even though I'm waiting to pull the trigger on hopefully a refreshed (even slightly) 27" RiMAC.

still the old picture !
what is happening? why i see the old wallpaper?
It comes down to the way Apple's site serves media images. Basically they use a bunch of data servers in different locations around the world to deliver content - I'm thinking that the new image hasn't made its way to all the servers yet, so when some of us are connecting to our usual local servers we see the old pic. Just a hunch though.

There's always the possibility Apple is just messing with us ;P

and yet all the rumours for the last 2-3 years came true regarding iPhones, iPad, macs etc
the leaks are huge

for those who see the new wallpaper can you search if there are new images for the accessories ? mouse trackpad keyboard?

Well I hope something happens today, my 14 day return period ends EOD tomorrow!

Same here on my Mac, but I opened the same link on my iPHone and the new image appeared. I think you have the clear the cache or something

From Australia: something is "new" but I'm not sure what, exactly, is new

Looks like there's been a price drop on the Retina iMacs in the US store. When you click "Buy" it shows as $1899 and $2199 respectively. The refurbs have also gotten a price drop.

I see this image on the Australian store "checkout" page as well. None of the other pages seem to have changed though (from memory).
