Refund from the credit card just came through. Wishing everyone who has still ordered with Gilles good luck and the best but considering we haven't yet heard from a single person here who has ordered with him in this batch that they've received something sure is telling.

Meanwhile Fangyuan has already shipped and I'm expecting to receive it either end of the week or beginning next week. Absolutely absurd.
My package from Aliexpress was prepared on November 6th and shipped the next day. It arrived in the EU on the 11th. I thought it was here in Italy, but I discovered a few days ago that it was in the Netherlands. It left on the 17th, but to date, nothing. Basically, it takes longer to travel to the EU than to arrive from China. To be fair, when I placed the order, they gave a delivery date range of November 15-24, and we're perfectly on time.

Did a speed test this morning and checked the AliExpress SSD Health after the test and it is still fine. Seems to be holding up strong, low temps and good health.

This is a reminder that my SSD order from 19/09/2025 (Order Ref: FOXGPUPJW) is still not delivered after 60 days.
Please provide a valid tracking number or process a full refund within 72 hours.
If not resolved, I will proceed with filing complaints through relevant consumer protection channels in India and France, and raise a payment dispute with my bank.

Classic case of not enough supply to meet demand, but lack of communication that makes matters 10x worse.
Maybe if he came on to update - any update - it would save him some sales, and some rep.

I reported the matter to my bank. The guy refuses to return the money... now I've received another message from the bank:

"Information regarding case 125878/102025

November 18, 2025

Dear Sir or Madam,

We have reported the matter to the payment organization. Unfortunately, this will extend the time we need to resolve your matter. As soon as we receive the information, we will respond to your request. We will do this by December 22, 2025 at the latest.

Sincerely,

Principal Specialist - Customer Operations"

In my opinion, this is a scam, and there's no point in speculating. A normal, honest seller would have returned the money and the matter would have been resolved.

I don't think that would be enough to save him anymore. Between the archived posts on his website and his updates here, he has either lied or misrepresented the state of affairs so many times that his credibility is gone. You simply cannot trust what he says, so it doesn't matter what he is saying.

When it was one or two delays it was excusable, but now we have assembled a body of evidence of long delayed orders and multiple accounts from customers who were told they would be refunded, yet he still has their money held hostage. This thread contains much of that evidence, and the tracking spreadsheet makes that fact very clear.

Do not purchase from Polysoft, you will regret it. I can't be any clearer than that.

Did anyone get… anything at all?

I’ve requested a refund today, but since I received no reply from previous message, I’m now sending an official “lettre recommandée avec accusé de réception” (certified letter) — which already costs me over €8 — to begin a formal legal process in France called an injonction de payer (payment order). This is the legal way to force a company to refund you within 8 days, under penalty of court action.

Normally, this would be the first step, but given the growing number of similar cases with no response from Polysoft, I’m also preparing to file a complaint with the French consumer protection authority (DGCCRF).

Let’s hope we don’t have to wait on Gilles anymore just to get our money back. Since he isn’t replying, these legal actions are now the only way forward — and I hope they allow me to obtain a refund quickly.

Translation :

What will happen to the company?

The company will receive your report. It will have the opportunity to directly resolve the issue based on the information you provided. Your name and contact details will be shared with the company if it wishes to respond to you.

Your report is also forwarded to the French consumer protection authority (DGCCRF). If your issue affects other consumers as well, the DGCCRF may carry out an inspection of the business.

This is not at all a supply issue. He sold 300+ orders that were a design failure and scrapped. Now, the best case scenario is that he is using more recent order revenue to fund manufacturing of these 5 months overdue units again.

@gilles_polysoft has been lying to all of us for months regarding refunds, delivery dates etc. So much so, look at all the chargebacks in this thread alone.

This is classic fraud.

With the 21 November date now passed, it seems safe to assume that he ended up shipping nothing in the past week. We've publicly identified enough customers here to account for more than 10 percent of his claimed backlog of 300 orders, and literally no one reported getting a shipping notification for an open order.

He is still accepting paid in full orders on the website and will probably continue doing so until the fraud investigators step in, so new victims are most likely getting added to the backlog in the meantime. It really is quite unbelievable. I honestly do not think this business is going to be around for much longer.

Unbelievable indeed.

He lost $200k with the faulty design of those 300+ batch 3 orders. I doubt he can afford to manufacture them again and the walls are caving in now.

The chargebacks tell the whole story here. He does not intend to make anyone whole.
