Selected Pickup at UPS CC This Past Monday after packages left the original shipping location. It was just marked as ready for pickup. I'm in the SF Bay Area picking up at Menlo Park CC.

Destination scan is what you’ll get when it’s at the CC, and (in my experience today) you’ll get the final message within about 30 minutes that it’s available for pickup.

Edit: Arrival scan can be anywhere, as mine scanned that when the aircraft landed.

Destination scan is a final sortment. Then the change to pickup is processed.

Mine just updated to say “Package not yet at UPS access point” and estimated delivery changed to “Not available”. Is this normal? Haven’t had this happen before with a scheduled pick up.

Mine moved to that this morning then around an hour later switched to “Loaded on vehicle” and the ETA returned to Nov. 3 at the access point selected. So should be good news just hang tight!

I just got my notice, my  iPhone X is ready for pick up! Thank you to all on this thread, I’m glad I changed my UPS preference to pick up versus waiting until 7 pm or later for it to be delivered.

Update: UPS now says “loaded on delivery vehicle” and delivery estimate is back to today. Feeling less worried now!

Rep I spoke to didn’t seem to know what’s going on. Didn’t seem like English was his first language so I hung up. I’m just going to sit at my house and waste my day until I get some kind of notification

There were 3 people in line ahead of me when I got there. When we walked in, the woman working the pickup counter was already frazzled. She told us that we may need to be patient because there are a lot of phones and the pickup emails may have gone out prematurely, so it could take her a while to find out phones. Luckily, everyone was super chill and she was able to find all our phones pretty quickly. Setting up my phone now!

I kept refreshing and now order 2 is ready for pick up. I guess the delay status is marked before moved to ready for pickup. I am not freaking out anymore.

I still don't get why FedEx didn't let folks do hold for pickup, like UPS is doing. Seriously what gives?!?!!!

This was a great idea. The whole transaction was super smooth. Only issue I ran into was different address on ID. Make sure you bring a utility bill or just pull up your banking statement on phone and show the address.
