For those experts, I know in the past I've gotten an exception showing once I scheduled for pickup. Right now, it shows I've requested it, but no exception has shown yet. I called UPS and they say it's still "pending." I requested it yesterday morning. But yeah, I'm worried since the exception should have popped-up but never did.
 
I won’t lie I got a little worried my estimated date said it was 11/06 after changing to delivery to my cc but I know I should be good
 
Anyone picking up at a CC don't be worried if the package isn't ready for pick up right at opening. For the 8 Plus, mine wasn't ready to go until 11AM. Make sure to wait for the tracking page to show its ready before going down and wasting your time cause they wont be able to go get it until its found, sorted and scanned in.

That's how it was when I went to get my 7 Plus. I got there right at opening (and so did a bunch of others) but we all waited. I think I ended-up going to a fast food place to get breakfast, then went back because UPS said it wasn't ready yet.

That’s a good tip! Thanks. I’ll make sure to check before I go. I’m sure there will be a lot of others picking up too.

Often yes, but it's extra cost, not free like redirecting to a local UPS Store. It also depends on whether the shipper allows it. Some do, some don't. If they don't only way to override it is to call the shipper (Apple, BB, Cellco, etc) and explain you want to have it delivered to another address.

If the shipper allows it it won't be an option until the phone if officially picked up. I know those of us who ordered from TMob are still at the "ready for pick up" stage. Also once it's been picked up we should see the ability to select a two hour delivery window. This is extra cost too unless you have premium my choice. Then it's free unless you've already used your two opportunities up for your enrollment period.
 
I had originally ordered a pickup at a UPS CC but changed my mind back to delivery and called UPS to cancel after reading some of the horror stories about not being able to pick up if the ID address doesn't match the delivery address. Can anyone who's picking up in store confirm what their UPS page says under "shipping information"? does it have your UPS CC or a home address? Thanks!
 
I went ahead and switched my packages to hold at the local CC, their hours are 10 am - 8 pm. Delivery still shows 11/3 by end of day, I’m guessing the information will update tomorrow?


That sounds great the customer care center here is open from 1pm to 6 pm :eek:

I was thinking about changing it but I don't want to mess with the delivery date and chance not getting it until Monday. Already took Friday off.
 
I just went for it! Will be picking it up at 10am on Friday morning at my local UPS CC. I did this once before without issue, so hopefully it all works as planned!

I decided to take a chance, since several people have reported positive experiences using this option.

I just went for it! Will be picking it up at 10am on Friday morning at my local UPS CC. I did this once before without issue, so hopefully it all works as planned!

Earlier this week I was going to change my delivery for a pick-up at my local UPS CC and it's hours showed 3pm - 7pm Mon-Fri for pick-ups. Now it's showing closed every day of the week? I guess it's a good thing I didn't request a hold for pick up. Not sure what's up with the hour changes?
 
The customer care centers near me doesn't open until noon and 3p. When i tried changing it, it says pickup date will be 11/6

*EDIT* Ended up choosing the pick up from the UPS CC. It opens at 3pm but don't want to risk missing the delivery since i live in an apartment complex

mine is 9am to 6pm but i live in a MAJOR hub city
