Looks too much like a ceramic back and too much contrast. The blue and orange seem to blend in a lot better.
That's my take, too. I was really close to ordering silver. I actually had both silver and orange ready to go. I'm glad I went with orange.

Forgive me for their wrong thread but i figured i would get answers here or be told to pound sand!! Is there an advantage to staying on 18 or moving to 26 on my 16 before migrating to the 17 on Friday at the Apple Store? I’d like to get used to the changes now but if it causes an issue or makes things take too long in store, i will stand by. Thanks all
I would upgrade to 26. There are optimizations in every iOS version that will make for a better migration, based on past experience. And likely the migration will carry the processing and re-indexing that your current phone will be doing over to the new phone.

I am hoping to find information before Friday with the optimal migration method. I have generally used the iCloud backup restore, but I have a fast Thunderbolt 5 (USB-C) cable that could be used between phones, or between new phone and encrypted backup of current iPhone on my Mac.

edit: Reading CodeSpyder's comment above I forgot to mention that the new phone will almost certainly require an upgrade before or with the migration. It will be interesting to see if the ISPU units have been updated in their boxes while in the store as some have speculated will be happening at some point with advances in device management.

is anyone stuck at still processing with a 9/19 delivery date? they haven't charged me yet either. I ordered through apple
yup, but I have in store pickup LOL, my sales tax was charged (pending still) when I created the pre-order last week Wednesday

I agree, but it’ll be interesting to go to the battery health menu in settings, to see when the manufacture date was. I’m guessing no earlier than September.
My 16 Pro that I picked up on release day last year was manufactured in July.

I seem to remember vaguely — maybe from the Apple event last year? — that Apple was going to ship more things via cargo ship vs air to cut down on carbon usage. I wonder if at least some of these phones came that way. Two months or so does seem like a bit of a stretch, though.

There is a new iOS out this afternoon. Wait on this if migrating your current phone to a new one.

This may have been mentioned already, or somewhere..........just FYI.

.
26. But, aren’t we expecting the new phones to ship with 26 and not 18? If so, shouldn’t be an issue, right?

Just got a label created for 1.50lb so that must be my Pro Max, coming from Indiana. I assume my watch will be next.

Super glad to see the tracking but the days of watching it come from across the world is done I guess lol
Carrier or Apple order ?
