That's been true in all previous years, but since it appears that all phones for US customers are already stateside, one would assume they have already cleared customs. I think we won't see "Shipped" status until they are actually ready to leave the hub, which is usually the final leg of the journey.
This is the first year we haven’t been able to track the phones from China.
Just picked up from Apple Store. I definitely loved it. I haven't seen a nice case like this from Apple in a while. They didn't have nice cases at all for the 16PRO. I'm picking up the phone on Saturday then I will check out the other colors bc I feel I will want more than one to pair with my orange phone 😆

Yeah, in prior years the tracking for each individual shipping label originated from CN. This year, the tracking for each individual shipping label is originating from US, roughly equivalent to the final leg of the previous years' tracking journeys.
When the phones made it to the USA is anyone's guess. All we know is that they've changed their logistics such that the final leg is tracked separately from the earlier movement. Maybe they've been sitting in the US already, or maybe they changed it to just not individually address the phones until after they're in the US. Who knows. But it's different.
That looks really nice! I almost ordered one, but wasn’t sure how I’d feel about TechWoven. So, I went with silicon. It’s arriving today. I may have to pick up a TechWoven, as well, though!
I have the same dates for my Silver Pro Max. What are the chances we get it this friday? lol
Yep, I was pleasantly surprised by the techwoven cases. I received mine a couple days ago and my 16 pro max fits in it, so I've been actually using it before getting my new phone on Friday. I'm pretty sure I'm going to pick up a second color. I got the Sienna which I think will go great with my orange pro max and am considering getting either the green or purple.

Mine has been at preparing to ship since last week lol. Hope that's a good thing.
My current phone is a 13 pro, so one of the last where leather was available. I always got leather in the past. The TechWoven looks so premium. I love the variation of colors on the back. I will get one so that my phone can have a dressy outfit when we go out lol.
I was on 9/25 until yesterday when I switched to 9/19. I had ordered within minutes a 512 silver pro max. I was getting worried, but the Apple app just said it had moved to preparing to ship finally! Yay!!!!
This is the kinda stuff I watch at quiet time, around 10pm. I learn so much about general stuff the average person doesn't even think about. Thx for the rec.
Nomad also makes a nice case. Mine is already here and waiting for phone...

I just got a call from "Verizon" about my (2) iPhone 17 Pros in orange.
The guy wanted to confirm the order and started asking questions......I asked him how I know if this is really Verizon and he repeated my name and what I ordered.
After several minutes, when I pushed for more credentials he hung up!
I hit redial on the number.......someone answered (which was local area code) and it was an actual Verizon store......BUT they said they never call customers about any online orders and was concerned.
The scammers spoofed the Verizon phone number also.
The kicker is I never ordered my (2) iPhones from Verizon, I ordered them from Apple!
How he knew what I had ordered and my name is a mystery other than getting inside info from Apple or this website forum!
I do have Verizon as a carrier though.....
Be careful on information you provide no matter how legit it might sound!

Veterans would agree its no fun this year the hype of it coming, tracking planes down from china all the way to US 
Apple Watch and iPhones are unavailable for store pickups. Can I go to the store on Saturday and pick them to buy on the spot there? Do you know how it worked in previous years?

Saturday afternoon... I was not sure if I was upgrading this year... also, mine is not the Max so it's not so popular. They had the 19th available for pick up until Saturday morning. I was thinking of waiting to see it in the store first to decide but I ended up ordering anyway lol
