I got tracking. My phone is with DW. Boogity boogity boogity.
I always arrived at 10am, which i think was its reported opening time. Only once was there a "line", and it was one person. My UPS CC was small and on launch days, the line would be out the door with people milling about lol. I had a good rapport with the UPS CC workers, as I do all my outbound shipping and was there multiple times during the week. Now for my outbound packages, I have to drive a small distance to the UPS store and roll the dice that my outbound do not get rummaged thru or stolen (see the YouTube videos about the UPS Store and the 10k Leica or the rare guitar). Now I have to stand by until 6:59pm on launch day lol.
Yes. I am in Michigan. I have two phones coming. My wife has a Pro coming and that has shipped and I have a tracking number. I have an Air coming and it still says that it's arriving tomorrow but no tracking number and nothing in UPS My Choice and apple still says it's "preparing to ship".Anyone else with a 19 SEP delivery date still in "preparing to ship" with no inbound shipments in MyChoice? I am in Boston.
Did you get an Air? My air is the same way but my pro has tracking now.. I'm just praying that maybe they are coming from two different locations. My pro is coming from Tennessee. I live in Michigan.Still stuck on Processing with a Delivers Tomorrow message, was on preparing to ship on Tuesday then it bounced back to processing... nothing in UPS yet either... still not too worried yet, but definitely odd... in Nj here
I have the same information as you only it’s my phone that’s in Ontario
Apple order?

An Apple "genius" once told me that setting up from scratch eliminates the risk of bringing over bugs from the old phone. So I did that a few times, major pain. Now I usually restore from iCloud or phone to phone but I think this time I'll try restoring from my encrypted MAC backup.I don’t see any benefit to starting from scratch for myself, I declutter apps I don’t use often so everything that is on my phone I want on my new phone so no need to start fresh. 🤷♀️
When switching to new hardware, I always start from scratch. I'm usually coming from the beta and want the "cleanest" experience I can.An Apple "genius" once told me that setting up from scratch eliminates the risk of bringing over bugs from the old phone. You receive an Apple gift card for the excess.Wonder how that all works if a trade in is in excess of the balance paid on your card.
More than likely the stores already have inventory in the store. It should update shorty before you pick it up tomorrow.Does anyone know when the stores get in-store pickup inventory? None of my orders have changed yet.

CCC is not coming back anytime soon, mine they took all the customer facing stuff out last year. I would just do ISPU since you are close, I'm having to do ISPU for a family members phone but lol it's a 3 hour drive one way to that Apple Store.I always arrived at 10am, which i think was its reported opening time. I'd heard rumors of CCC closing for several years, but last year was the first time I was unable to get it switched to there. I had to wait for the truck, but it arrived for the first time ever before noon! Usually we were a 4- 7pm kind of street, but UPS app showed the truck just blocks away around 11am!
But ISPU for me until they reopen CCC, and also show tracking of phones from Asia. Not nearly as much fun missing those days of watching the flights through Anchorage to Louisville.
Report in with the line attendant when you get there. Be prepared to jump right in when you arrive in case you can start early. They will direct you to immediate service or "go wait in the food court, or in line" depending upon availability of someone to get your order in the store.Does the Apple Store make a big deal if you're 30-60 minutes early for your appointment?
Beg to disagree. I'm pretty sure last year for the 16 we were still able to track by reference all the way from China to Anchorage to Louisville to our homes.Has been this way for a few years now. So not tariff related.
Probably helps UPS to ensure timely delivery of the large number of phones. They can presort them at label time versus sorting them all as they arrive in China under pressure.
They may take advantage of available capacity to shift later traffic to earlier times. But it is at their discretion, and also dependent upon your device(s) being ready.A friend who works at the Apple Store says they will usually ask you to come back at his store if you're considerably early, but I don't know if that's policy at all stores.
Clean install was a real thing but no where near the amount off items to reinstall for some now.An Apple "genius" once told me that setting up from scratch eliminates the risk of bringing over bugs from the old phone.
