Just got notification from UPS. AWU3 delivery tomorrow from Tennessee

For the past few years, iPhones and watches for release date delivery, always had signature required in the UPS tracking. I don’t see the requirement this time.
Was wondering the same. I might have been lucky, but last years was the 1st year I had to sign.

I had a package delivered earlier this week that required a signature. It was clear as day on the UPS App. There is no indication of that on my Apple deliveries for tomorrow.

I guess we will find out soon enough.

UPS2568 leaving Louisville at 4:30pm for Minneapolis. Guessing my blue Pro Max 256 will be on it.
I’m in rural west central Wisconsin and hoping my orange PM 256 is hanging out with your blue one on that flight! You’ll probably get your phone before me, normally UPS guy doesn’t make it to my area till after 6pm. I’m excited for you to get it😁

Socal checking back in, tracking showed up this morning. I’m sure it’s been asked here already but … I’m trading in a 15 pro max, I can complete trade in at the store vs sending it in via the kit right?

Question - trying to buy another base, status was updated overnight to available for pickup 9/19 but without the Apple store link- and when I try to check out it says only eligible for pickup. Huh?

Fedex required a sig for my AC+ replacement just now (and hadn't always in the past) - wonder if they are tightening things up with the signatures.
Last few things I’ve had delivered by FedEx have required a signature if I’m home when delivered. I asked the driver if something changed and he said that anything over $1000 requires a signature and company would like a signature for anything under $1000 if driver finds homeowner at home but not required. I’m in a rural area where porch thieves ain’t a thing so not sure if it’s different in the cities.

Interesting - the no return value was just under $1000 for this, but I suppose my area could be considered high risk so either of those things could have done it. I guess I'd rather have the sig required than risk it going missing tbh. Though our store is 4 blocks away so I just do ISPU whenever available to avoid the whole thing (though AC replacements obviously can't be.)

It's like an annual reunion, but without the annoying relatives, I hope.
I was just thinking about this whole annual release event and the energy and general vibe of it. Some say it's petty and materialistic, but how is the general concept any different than getting excited about MLB opening day or week 1 of the NFL season, or the start of the NASCAR season?

I feel quite fortunate that we (as in the Apple fan community) have the means to enjoy the annual release cycle.

it's true and sports fans generally don't understand that they are actually fans of some billionaire's business. at least we realize that lol

Ahh - odd as it did open up on the product page overnight but reverts to ship only at the end. Same boat, want to pick it up around the 28th.

So my watch shows shipped and I can see it now in Kentucky.

My Phone shows shipped BUT when I look at UPS it still only shows Label Created (Has shown that all week) so I am hoping since it seems the phone is coming from PA (I am on NC) that maybe tonight it will move.
