So are the phones sent with Signature required this year? My UPS tracking does not say so.

Keep in mind this is the sim version, esim is a little better
i'm thinking that indiana address is a regional warehouse for returns. i think the return address you get is connected to your mailing address - i've got an apple watch and an iphone both with a return address of rialto, but the watch is shipping from Kentucky and the iPhone is shipping from Ontario, CA. normally i see Elk Grove as a return address, which is in northern CA somewhere.
I may not be able to track my phones from China, but there’s no reason why I can’t track them from Ontario to Denver. There’s a UPS flight that leaves Ontario airport at 1 PM Pacific daylight time and arrives in Denver at 3:57 Mountain daylight time. It’s possible some phones may be on that flight. If not, the next flight to Denver from Ontario is early tomorrow morning. If a phone does depart Ontario on the 1 PM flight, tracking information should be updated for the departure.
Me too. I can still cancel the order even! I dont know what to think anymore lol. Om in montana, so the nearest Apple Store is out of state so pick up is never an option. Oh well, i am still high hoping

My status just updated to preparing to ship, and so far the 19th is still holding… cancel button is gone
I have a UPS delivery expected anytime now, I’m gonna ask my driver if he knows about the signature thing for Apple. A heads up tho, I live out in the country so may not be the same for city folks.

Interesting logistics this year. I’m in Utah and mine is coming from Lathrop CA, but a buddy of mine is a few miles away and his is in Ontario CA. Did you order direct from Apple?

I have UPS My Choice, not the paid version but free version. I have a cheap blanket from Amazon coming today and I can see the map of where UPS driver is on UPS app. So as long as you have the free version of My Choice, I’d think you should be able to see when your UPS driver is in your area tomorrow. Not sure how to post a screenshot on here to prove what I’m saying is true.
yup same boat now. Was originally a 9/22 delivery, flipped to 9/19 today and got tracking now waiting for first scan
Question for the group - i'm doing ISPU tomorrow, but haven't received my trade-in kit yet for my current phone. Can you trade-in in-store? (seems like there are differing accounts).
Normally I would be ok waiting for the trade-in kit, but i leave on vacation 9/23 and I may not get the trade-in kit in time to send back within the 14 days deadline. Also...curious...does anyone know what happens if you missed or send the phone back after 14 days?

Yes, you can do the trade-in at the store, but you'll probably have to get a manager to cancel/override the trade-in that you started online. I had to do this last year when I purchased a new MacBook Pro. I started the trade-in online when I placed my order for the new MacBook Pro, but the trade-in kit was delayed and didn't arrive until several days after the new MacBook was delivered. So, I went to my nearest Apple Store to do the trade-in. The employee had to get a manager to override my existing online trade-in, but the process was easy enough. The trade-in kit was still delivered a few days later and I promptly threw it in my recycling bin.

my watch and phone have the same tracking number? they were separate orders. isn’t that weird? i’ve never had this happen.
edit: i guess not. they have separate numbers. but my airpods don’t show up in my ups. i have the tracking number and i can track it but it doesn’t show who it’s going to.
