Is anyone that order in home delivery taking their trade in to Apple/carrier store instead of mailing it back? I’ve heard sometimes phones get lost and with in store you get a receipt

Apple may have locked out that ability.

Track it and when it reaches your local destination center, then try to request UPS Access point pickup.

If it allows you, select the Access point in the same county/region, and remember to pay the $5.99.

If you do it quickly with enough notice to UPS handlers, they will mark it for Access point delivery, if not, they will attempt to deliver at the address listed.

The only two devices I will ever setup as new are my Mac & iPad as both don't have much on them that I worry about losing or having to resetup. All my files are in iCloud/OneDrive/Sharepoint and I treat it as a time to get rid of all the old applications and files I had installed but don't frequently use especially since day to day I can count the applications I use on one hand and 80% of those are stock apps.

My phone on the other hand gets restored from backup or migration between devices there is far too much stuff to setup as new and then waste time getting it back to how I like it.

With mail back in the US. It’s Apples label, their carrier, and weight, receipt, and scan at the terminal.
Simple, done.

My 15PM wasn’t delivered until 3:45pm.

On bulk deliveries I have gotten a bulk, none adjustable window, of before 7PM

Apple still says my phone is arriving tomorrow. I guess some distribution centers are more diligent than others in updating tracking. Ordered Pro Max deep blue 1TB.

Definitely not the only one!

I had an issue with my credit card and after correction it switched to prepare for shipping then the next morning back to processing, but still shows delivery tomorrow 9/19…my airpods are in transit!

Pro max 1tb orange

Yup. Plug a lighting to USB cable in and it would work. Not sure if that’ll be faster than WiFi though. Thunderbolt is certainly faster, but Lightning is the old USB 2 speeds, so might not be faster. But it would be more stable likely.

Dang. That sucks. Wonder if you'll still get it though. I was also one of the people with a 25th delivery date, but it corrected to the 19th.

Right now when I open the Apple Store app, I don't even see my phone status on the "For You" page, it disappeared entirely. But when I go to Orders, it says "Shipped".

Tapping the "track shipment" button takes me to UPS MyChoice which says tracking information not available. Weird stuff!

I also have the 15PM. Have you had any speaker distortion problems with your phone? I’ve seen it’s a known problem and apparently the 16PM also has same issue. Apple has said it’s a software bug but as of the last I researched it, they haven’t provided a fix for it. It just started bout 6 months ago for me.

No speaker issues that I have noticed.

One thing that I find interesting is that my phone is shipping from Pennsylvania while my watch and AirPods are shipping from Kentucky. All 3 originally said Indiana.
