I went Cosmic Orange... I am excited for a bold color in the Pro line.
I won’t be surprised if this year, due to the tariffs, all the iPhones would be shipped from the US instead of directly from China.
I funny how a new color can attract a lot of attention. Just remember, in a couple of years from now, the color will out date you.

One more reason I switched to the Apple Card financing. Too many issues with Citizens One, including the phone "CS" that makes it very difficult to speak to a human. The "AI" voice assistant seems to think too highly of itself and its capabilities... . I just want to talk to a human, please!
I think I only sent back one phone, I kept the rest for passing down the family tree or selling to friends. So I wasn't taking advantage of the return and seemed I wasn't using the selling feature of iUP. Plus, the AppleCare One gives me way better AppleCare and for significantly less. No brainer in my use case!
No UPS tracking # for me and no results yet when I track by reference.
I charged my test order before my IUP order switched to launch day delivery to my Apple Card. Tax was taken almost immediately. Maybe it's different for the Apple Card than other cards?
Me too, I bought it not because orange is my favorite color but because I want them to keep producing more interesting colors for the pros.
I am so curious where they will be coming from and what the shipping route would be from India. Seems they'd still be flying through Anchorage. UPS doesn't have a route, to my knowledge, to fly through Europe, or where? lol
I did fly from Washington, D.C. to Hong Kong some years ago, the flight tracking looks really weird as the plane flies over (near) the North Pole and the normal map view makes it look really weird if they go slightly more to the east over the top of the world (Mercator Map-wise). Some people ask why they fly way north to Anchorage, they could fly straight east over the Pacific Ocean, but if you pull a string from HKG to SDF on a globe, Anchorage is the perfect halfway point on a straight polar route.
There I go again, another strange tangent. lol
8:03am pre order base 17… showed 9/25… updated to 9/19 on September 12! Preparing to ship updated on Saturday morning 13th. Looks like o have a pending charge on card for the phone! Hopefully get tracking tomorrow.
It is a loooong week. I really enjoyed tracking the flights in the past.
I had two orders set up prior to preorder, both using Apple Card. The first was just a plain purchase with trade in. No financing. Tax was not immediately charged. Nothing was. I ended up canceling that one and placing an order for a different configuration. This time I used Apple Card Monthly Installments because I saw I could get up front credit on the trade in. With that one, I got the immediate tax charge, because tax isn’t part of the financing plan.
I got my usual Apple clear MagSafe case but this year, to me that big white square on the back is hideous. So I also ordered the Apple silicone case in Terra Cotta. It's the only color that I think will look decent with Cosmic Orange. I considered a Nomad case but after having tried enough cases to equip the entire Chinese nation, for me the Apple cases always work out best.

If you are using beta software then of course there going to be issues. The RC should have all those issues fixed.
It's not Sunday anymore in China, which is where everything is happening right now...plus, iPhone launch is a 24/7 production every year for UPS regardless of location. We typically see tracking pop into UPS MyChoice on the Sunday before launch as they are labeling the pallets in China. I'd expect to see Apple Store orders getting tracking starting today into tomorrow.
