Just for reference, it does seem to be immediate. Is it immediate after you payoff? Mine is AT&T.

Afraid to say that #2 is not true. Ive done now three carrier trade ins at Apple, also on AT&T. They take the phone right then and there. However, when I place my order, i explicitly select the “Trade in In Store” option. Otherwise there is an option to Mail It In, and AT&T will send you the trade in packaging or Apple will provide it in store. The specifics on that side I cannot provide since I haven’t done it. One thing that can also be done, which I did with my ex girlfriend once; you can say you will trade it in later via mail, and then when your are ready, to avoid the PIA process of mailing it and having AT&T lose it (been there, done that, never again), you can just take it to an AT&T Corporate Store and trade it in there. It just has to be a corporate store.1) If your wife makes her own order, she would have to designate you by name on who's picking it up. Apple Stores has a bunch of orders fraudulently picked up over the past year so expect that verification of identity will be more demanding. If it were me, I'd order both on my Apple account.
2) Trading in to AT&T - they should send you a box and Apple wouldn't be expecting to get your old phone at Pickup. You owe the phone to AT&T, not Apple based on your post.
I've seen it for IUP folks where they could turn in their phones immediately at pickup. I normally do ISPU and even if they ask me if I want to turn in my phone, I say NO - cause I need it for all the transfer of data to setup my new phone and watch. Then, again, on IUP, I can go back to the store at a later date to turn it in...something on the order of a couple of weeks from pickup actually.
Haha, I'm a fool every year. I work my butt off so I give myself a bit of slack for my foolishness. That’s going to be us 😆
I don't think you can add it to your bag, In the Apple Store app it shows under For You. My whole pre-order choices are there but my bag is empty.Looks like Apple.com is allowing you to add the iPhone to your bag now or get pre-approved for financing, and then just hit place order on Friday.![]()
No doubts here. PM in Cosmic Orange, 512 GB, trading up from 16 PM Natural Titanium, same storage, more than half remaining. I wasn't so much convinced by the videos as by the specs. I like the look of the Air better but the Pro is much more robust. I use mine for business, lots of video conferencing, and personal use so need the most oomph. My only vacillation every year is whether to go with the Pro or PM. I like a smaller phone but am so used to the large screen that I can't go back.Me. But I keep reverting back to the PM which I have ready to preorder.
What videos helped you convince to stay? Maybe I need to watch those lol
Apple Store app on my iPhone always works the best for me. In years past I had apple.com up on my MBP, the Apple Store app up on my iPad, and the iPhone's Apple Store app was always the winner.I used the Apple Store app.
I always trade in at ATT store - there's a paper trail that way. And yes must be corporate - not an authorized retailer.Afraid to say that #2 is not true. I'm on Next and all stores near me, even corporate ones won't take any trade-in's. I prefer that because I pick up my phone at Apple and then email the old one back at my leisure.I always trade in at ATT store - there's a paper trail that way. And yes must be corporate - not an authorized retailer.
Same. My wife thinks I’m a nerd, but I don’t care. I love this time of year. This is my Christmas time. That's what I tell my wife every year anyway. She's suspicious.
Are others able to do a Verizon trade and do their financing?I don't think you can add it to your bag, In the Apple Store app it shows under For You. My whole pre-order choices are there but my bag is empty.
I joked with my son during the keynote that this was a hint that Apple headquarters was moving to Denver.now that you mention it... all of the colors are giving Denver Broncos.
According to Verizon they are blocking preorders until tomorrow @ 5:00amExperiencing the same. Frustrating.
Looks more Chicago Bears. The blue is right.I joked with my son during the keynote that this was a hint that Apple headquarters was moving to Denver.
if you scroll down you should see blue text that says "Delete and Start Over" it only deletes the phone you're looking at.So I have 2 of the ready for iPhone pre-order. Can I cancel it and make another one? I want to change the storage. Thanks!
Sounds like a total cluster in the making.According to Verizon they are blocking preorders until tomorrow @ 5:00am
It’s driving me crazy
Ditto, clear MagSafe case every year. I don't want to hide the color of the phone I chose. I tried other cheaper cases on Amazon but Apple's clear case works best for me.I ordered the clear case
Something about counting chickens comes to mind. The past couple of years it's been smooth, although the app always opens late for me. The first year I joined the IUP was a disaster. IUP folks were limited to only a couple of colors. And despite having gone through the getting ready steps, I had to reenter my CC details and verify my address. I sent an email to Tim Cook and his Exec team fixed it for me, put a black on reserve at the Apple Store so I could trade in the hideous (to me) gold one I finally managed to order. But recently I've breezed through quickly.Got my preorder saved for Friday. This should be easy peasy
Auburn University, Tim Cook's alma materLooks more Chicago Bears. The blue is right.
My focus was on the Orange as main color, hence Broncos. Had I focused on Blue as the most important iPhone color I may have gone with the Bears. lolLooks more Chicago Bears. The blue is right.
