No way after 3 min in, the base 17 slipped or me getting a 25th delivery date. Don’t get it. I still see 19th if I go and try and order a new one… so what is happening?

I wouldn’t be surprised if a lot or all of us early orders aren’t bumped up to 9/19.

I submitted my order, but noticed afterwards I put the street and not the actual business number, and the street number is 1 digit off but on a main road by the actual business I shipped the phone to. Will UPS still be able to locate the right address if I put the business name and suite number? I don’t want to resubmit my order.

Why chance it? I'd cancel and reorder certainly..

Cosmic Orange/Pro Max/2TB ordered for pickup next Friday morning along with AirPods Pro 3 and a couple of cases.

So stupid. I too preordered a silver pro 1TB and got a 9/25 delivery date. I tried to go back and order it regularly and it says 9/19, but when you add it to the bag it changes to 9/25 as well. Guess I’ll just keep my original order and hope it get bumped up

If I did a pickup in store, am I able to request a shipping box for the trade-in? I was in a rush to get the pickup on 9/19 at least, and I didn't see an option for the trade in to send in the phone.

Ordered! That was a bit more hectic than it’s been in previous years. Got stuck on the holding page for 10 minutes, then my pre-selected carrier line had some issue so I essentially had to rebuild my order. The good thing is when I rebuilt the order I was able to get in store pick up on the 19th instead of delivery on the 25th!

Excited to be back again after a three year hiatus from the pre-order craziness! Is it too soon to pull up FlightAware?

I was debating til the last minute but went with the air because that form factor is just too appealing and when I look at how I use my phone it's 95% web browsing and messages. I play games on consoles and PC and for phone gaming only do word or puzzle games so the Air should be powerful enough for my uses.

Me too. I went with the Cloud White which is beautiful. They all were nice, Blue was my 2nd choice.

Yes you can. You can even bring it in later after your purchase (but there is a time limit, forgot how long but at least 7 days) for a post-purchased trade in. The trade in credit will be applied to your purchase and you receive a partial refund, instead of a gift card.

Why so many of you doing in-store pickup? Just curious.

I do in store because of the trade in; I hate sending my trade in and worrying about it being stolen en route or by someone at the trade in facility (you hear too many horror stories). This way I can give the Apple Store employee my trade in without any worries. It also doesn't hurt that I live relatively close to an Apple Store (less than 5 miles).

Deep Blue Pro Max 256GB that was pre-ordered with Apple Upgrade and completed at 8:02AM shows my delivery at 9/25 but I can literally order one right now at 8:21AM and get it 9/19?? Has to be a glitch.

Same thing here with the same color and size phone. I think it’s a glitch cause when I processed mine (8:03) it said not available for pickup and delivery date of 9/25, I went ahead with the order I’m sure the date will move up. However if I try now that phone is available for pickup and has a release day delivery date.

One Air for 09/19 pickup, one Air for 09/25 delivery. Apple Store stilll down in Los Angeles, CA. Could only order on the App.

Same exact for me too!

First order went in and got delivery 9/25.
Second order went in 5 minutes after and got in store pickup 9/19.

Wonder if Apple is saying they prefer if you pickup from the Apple store ?

I’ve done the same. Are you able to cancel your other one? I don’t have that option on mine to do so.

Local store had Fri the 19th available so just picked that. Have to drive about an hour and half but guarantees the 19th vs the subjective 25th.
