Weird, somehow my local Apple Store has all the available options for pickup EXCEPT the one I want which is the 17 Pro Max in Deep Blue

I don't know whether to go with 1Tb or 2Tb. I have 512Gb now, and it's getting full. I like the extra space 1Tb would give me, but I dunno if I should just spend the $15 extra on top for 2Tb?

If you’re going to keep the phone for 3+ years, then get the 2TB.

25th delivery, Apple Store already been updated to pending shipment… praying it’s a glitch for delivery as I ordered within 2-3 min for a base 17..

Is it too late to change to pick up I’m guessing.

This is crazy....here is my experience:

• used Apple's recommended pre-order suggestion to place my order through the Apple Store app on my iPad and got a delivery date of 9/25/25 - order was placed at 5:10am PT according to Apple's confirmation email...

• then, placed another for the same exact iPhone manually and did an in-store pick-up for 9/20/25 and the order was placed at 5:27am PT!!! WTF?!?!??!

At least their website didn't crash....

Same here - ISPU manually ordered got 9/19 pickup. Pre-bagged order placed 5 minutes earlier got 9/25 delivery !

The orange Pro max 256 GB delivery dates have slipped to October where I live. Silver and Deep Blue pro max are still available for in store pick up with delivery dates in late September.

Even though I selected in store pickup with time slot, the site is telling me I can't do in-store trade in and they will send me the kit. Is this the case for everybody?

I wonder if the stores can't handle the pick up option. They're more focused on walk in sales now.

Ordered a dark blue 256gb pro max through the upgrade program 7 minutes after preorder when it finally let me in and it says delivers 9/25 do you think it will bump to the 19th?

IDK if I trust it but I am getting a silver pro max 256 and orange pro max 256 delivered on 9/19. I don't trust it because Verizon's site was **** this year and it took me 30 min of refresh to order them.

You should be able to do in-store trade in. I've had the same issue before, where it shows that they will send a kit, but when I pick up in-store they will still process the trade in.

My Bill to address information for the Apple Card is set as the nearest Mall near me for some reason. I wonder if that will cause issues. I already see the charge on the apple card though so im hoping it pans out. Either way i ordered another for in store pickup just in case. This years preordering was weird.

Delivery 9/19.

Not surprised as it’s the most basic of colors (because black is not available).

I’m a bit confused and wanted to see if this has happened to anyone else.

As soon as my pre-order link opened, I placed the order right away and the delivery date I got was Sept 25. Then, just two minutes later, I went to the Apple Store app as a “new” user (not logged into my pre-order link), chose the exact same model and storage, and it was showing the launch day delivery instead.

So basically:

• Pre-order (done instantly): Sept 25
• Random check right after: Launch date

Has anyone experienced this before? Do you think it’s just a glitch, or is it possible that my delivery date could still get updated?

Non of this is a glitch. Apple seems to wants the enthusiasts at their stores on release day. It’s a marketing publicity stunt.

Finally got in at 8:20 after refreshing about 200x. :20 after seems to be about the time I’m able to get in every year. Apple Store app was available a little sooner but you can’t use 10% military discount so I (not so) patiently waited. Downgrading from a 16 Pro to base 17, lavender. Miss the slightly lighter weight phone and pretty color! 😁💜

Also ordered an SE3 on Wednesday for 8am pickup. The earliest slot by the time I was able to order the phone was 12:45pm but I am hoping it’ll be ready at start of business so I can grab them both at my early slot and don’t have to come back later. I think they let me do that last year. 🤞

Went from a 15 Pro to a Base 17 White - LAST minute changed my mind from Air to this, too many add ons to this base and already found the 15 Pro to be a perfect size so a little hesitant it would feel too wide in my hand. I watched a billion videos and all said this is the best base they've ever made and by far the best deal overall

Besides the 25th delivery date, usual pre-order for me. I got in 30 seconds after 8 am through closing and reopening the app, order in at 8:01( took time to process the delivery date), and confirmation at 8:02.

Got my order in right at 8:01 am. Of course in my rush to get it in Apple Pay picked the wrong shipping address. Chatted with Apple support and they got it fixed for me!
