Has anyone cancelled an IUP order with a Sep 25th date and reordered with a 9/19 date?

I can see 9/19 is available for delivery but I’m afraid to cancel my IUP if it takes time to reset the availability of it. I may just leave it and hope it comes on the 19th. So annoyed by this
This. I'm super annoyed too and especially that one of the largest tech companies in the world was seemingly once again unprepared for the volume of orders and refuses to fix their errors.

I changed my mind, placed another pre-order for a blue pro max. but i don't see the option to cancel my first pre-order. is it because too soon?
Click on your order number. It will take you to the page you need to be on to cancel your present order.

With an in-store pickup should I be able to grab the phone and unbox/set it up at home? I selected the option to mail in the trade-in when checking out.

I vaguely remember years ago being required to open and activate it before leaving the store.

I placed my order this morning for store pick-up; however, it put someone else as the `Authorized pickup contact`instead of me. Will I be able to change it once it's in processing, or should I cancel the order and place it again?

Got up and got a blue Air 256 for my wife and a blue Pro Max 256 for myself. Didn’t load on my phone so I tried on my iPad and it showed right away. Both for delivery on the 19th. Went right back to sleep once it was done lol.

I saw one post by someone who got a Spet 25 delivery date but on the Apple site it now shows Sept 19th. Anyone else? Mine still shows Sept 25th. And Apple tells me the delivery date is estimated, not guaranteed, but on the website it says "delivering September 25". I'm so annoyed about the slipped delivery date and that it didn't give me the ISPU option for the 19th like it does if I order a phone without financing and not through IUP.

Apple: I’m mad at you. Whyyy are you punishing the pre-pre orders. We all got all our info in early, got up at 5am, waited in the queue…only to give us 9/25 delivery?!

I know dates have retroactively switched back in the past. Fingers crossed for this. But sometimes glitches are actual errors and we might get screwed.

I’m just annoyed because I LOVE launch day. For us OG’rs we get hyped. We want our new phone in-hand FIRST. Some even watch planes. ✈️ and it gets intense. Anywho..rant over.
This !!! Ordered at like 8:06 once the app refreshed and it says delivery 9/25!

Been waiting since Wednesday for this !

Really, I am showing Mid to Late October delivery dates on all ProMax options 512/1TB and zero option currently for in store pick up.

Why so many of you doing in-store pickup? Just curious.
I usually do delivery because I love the whole tracking thing, but for the last few years, UPS doesn't show up until 6pm or later on launch day, and I can get it much earlier if I do store pickup. The vibe at the Apple Stores on launch day is awesome, too, so I decided to go that route this year.

If I remember the last time I did the in store pick up, they just scan the phone that you picked it up and you’re on your way. And you can come back to turn your phone in for the trade-in at another time.
