which is why I’m leaning more towards the Air this year I think. I’ve had the pro max sized phones and it can get heavy. The camera is the only let down but I also question how many times I’ve used spatial, pro res max or super focused on pictures.

Idk, I’m tempted.

Verizon too, but then you’re tied into a 3 year
Payment plan that you can’t just payoff because you lose the incentive too
 
honestly orange is the only reason i'm going pro. I don't really quite understand the dfiferences. Like yes I understand more cameras, faster chip, and vapor chamber but I can't think of how any of this impacts my life.

Orange is my favorite color though so dang. Wish they had orange in the iphone basic lineup.

I've been thinking the same thing. I have a 16 Pro Max now and initially looking at a 17 Pro but the Air looks really tempting too. The only issue I have with the Air is the lack of a macro lens. I use the 0.5x mode more than I do with any of the zoom options by far.

Hopefully the Fold next year will have it, though I'm getting that phone no matter what.

So I am awaiting someone to adamantly post they are going to pick up their iPhone on launch day down at the UPS CC..... I am sure by now they noticed there is no longer a UPS CC to pick up from lol. there will be at least one that will claim to be able to do the pickup.

I am VERY confused about the Apple iPhone Upgrade Program (iPUP), which I have used for years. When I select the iPUP, the next selection is Connectivity - Choose a carrier. The problem is, I'm not using one of those four carriers. Does that mean I have to leave iPUP and select Finance instead OR just buy it outright??

I’m a girl who just likes giant phones apparently because I’ll never go smaller than a Pro Max. I already have a clear case waiting at home for that orange baddie!
 
I've sort of been a new phone every year type. One year I didn't get the Pro and regretted it later because of the camera. So I always get Pro. Not really taken with any of the colors. The blue is too dull. The silver looks too industrial. So I'll probably go orange and hope that it's more coppery. That's how it looks on the hands-on vids that I've seen.

New AirBuds and new Watch this year as well. Might as well just say "Apple take all my money."

I forgot that I can no longer do financing now that I am on Mint, either way I am going to end up preordering iPhone Air 256 Black. May even try to snag a store pickup time slot this year since I am close to an Apple store for the first time in a long time.
 
Put in my pre-pre order for Friday morning.

iPhone 17 pro blue with a clear case.

I usually hate apple’s clear cases but I though I’d give it another try

I just chatted with an iPhone specialist. S/he confirmed that the ONLY way to use the Apple iPUP is if you also use one of the four pre-approved carriers. If you are with anyone else, you must use regular finance or buy the phone outright. I already have someone who wants to buy my phone, so I guess it's no big deal, but this was definitely a surprise.

BTW, I'll be buying the Pro, but I haven't decided on the color because I want space black! The silver is too industrial (JBinPDX), the blue is blah, and the orange is, well, let's just say it's a color I don't care for. I wonder which color would be the easiest to paint black. ;)
