I've spent some more time with the Libretto, and am warming up to it. The cover has stretched out a bit and now closing it is not an issue. When folded back, I've learned to hold the cover slightly to the left (looking down at the case), so I don't accidentally trigger the sleep feature. It seems to be working out well. I hope Apple doesn't come out with some"must have" update for the IPad which will render my whole set-up obsolete (OK, I know they will eventually do this, but hope it takes them awhile).

It's highly likely next iPad will have retina display, and I would call that must have. Will make reading magazines on Zinio much better.

I encounter the issue of the magnet turning off the screen when folded back at least once a day. I also don't love the microfiber - it's a bit of a dust and dog hair magnet for me... and it loves to pick up crumbs. The thick-ish microfiber also tends to make my hands warm/sweaty when handheld, kinda like holding a warm blanket. Finally, I think the whole thing is just too thick for hand-holding when folded back.

If I had to do it again, I would go with something like the Ivolution Top with removable front cover (not sure if they're selling it for the iPad 2 now).

received my Libretto today from cases.com fits perfect and looks great...Best case I have gotten and I have allot... this is the last one..

I got my Olive Midnight with the black microfiber lining. The fit is excellent and the magnets do a pretty good job of holding the lid closed. I have to work to get the sleep to trigger when folded back - seems to only happen when I fold it back at an angle, but not when straight back.

I said I wouldn't buy a Vaja but now that it's in my hands it's awesome as always. The leather is very soft and the build quality great.

Can you post pictures?

Can you post pictures of the olive libretto? I like all of the unusual colors!

Pics of Olive Midnight

Here are some pictures. The non-flash images probably show the color truer but the flash images catch better detail. The color definitely changes with the lighting.

What about the weight? Had a simple leather cover + front for the ipad 1 from vaja (ivolution) and it really made it too heavy to hold in bed/to take notes for a while imo (~300grs)

I already posted the weight (post #169) in this thread.

For those of you that have received a Vaja case... do they send shipping notices or you dont know until you see the precious box at your doorstep. does Fedex send any type of notice? Are they good at keeping the shipping within the time that is on their website? When they say 25 days, I dont know if they mean until it is shipped or aprox date it is received. Thanks so much for your input!

I got home from work and there was a sticker on my door. No notice whatsoever that it was on the way.

I am so frustrated with Vaja right now! I ordered a libretto more than one month ago and they have not responded to my emails when I ask them why it has not been delivered. I actually paid more than $160.00 for this privilege. Who knows where my case is ... Buenos Aires? In a plane? Who knows!!!

I'm sure it will arrive soon.

Mine arrived on Monday (ordered 6th May) and I just love it. Nice to hold and work great as a stand in both modes.

Mine took the exact 35/36 days with shipping time. Patience will be rewarded!

I ordered mine on May 7th and they said the time frame was 25 days. (not 35) It has been 33 days since the order and I dont even know where it is!

After a couple of months of usage, can anyone comment whether they have had any issues with the unprotected corner, throwing this in a briefcase next to a laptop and some papers?

I love mine. If I travel, I put it in my briefcase.

Insufficient answer for those people who worry about 'unprotected corners'. They require pictures, including microscopic ones, that prove the unprotected corners look as perfect as the day they were born in China.

I put mine in an STM sleeve before "throwing" it in any sort of luggage.
