Same two 64gb space grey xs max's not charged yet.. if i recall i got charged around Weds / Thursday, it was kinda at the point where i was concerned last year, but i still took delivery on release day.

I got my confirmation for the 64gb Space Grey XS Max at 3:04 am but my bank hasn’t been charged yet. I chatted with someone named Charlie at Verizon this morning and he told me there has been no issue with the order and it’s in the financial verification department right now. He said I’d get it on Friday.
 
Mine has shipped and it’s only one state away!!! I’m in NJ, wish they’d make a mistake and ship early!

Welp, I guess Im in the minority now... Is there anyone else here with a ship date of 9/21 that hasn't been charged yet???
I haven’t been charged yet either, 64gb gold max but I also used PayPal so not sure if that changed anything
 
My wife's XS SG 256G has shipped. My XSMax 256 Silver is still pending. My account has not been charged for either order. Both delivery dates of 9/21.
 
I just received notice from Verizon that my XsMax is scheduled to ship 9/20. I erased the FedEx tracking number and the device details for obvious reason. So my credit card not going through due to the bank thinking it was a fraudulent charge and me immediately correcting the situation did not delay the shipment. FedEx website says the phone was picked-up this morning. Hmmm I might get lucky and receive before 9/21.

So for those of us that won't be home at the time of delivery, all we have to do is leave a note, with signature, tracking # and authorizing leaving package and it will most likely work? If it doesn't work, will the package be dropped off somewhere for pick up that evening or do I have to wait til Saturday for delivery again?

The email notification that the charge had failed contained a link to either re-enter the card or enter a different card. I followed the link.
 
Ordered 12:23am Pacific. XS Max Silver 64. I used the app. App says pending and shipping date 9/21. Website says processing and delivery date 9/21. My card has not been charged. Any guesses when I will get a tracking number or some movement?
