Carrier Verizon 2018 New iPhone Pre-Order Thread

I ordered 2 Xs Max 256gb sg around 3am Central Time. Still showing as pending. I think they have not received many shipments with the Space Gray model yet. Let’s hope today it’s the day.
I finally gave in and called Verizon about my order lol. I waited on hold about 19 minutes. I asked if my iPhone was being shipped this Friday 9/21 or was it being delivered this Friday. She had to go check, but she said according to Apple it would arrive Friday.
I asked why I hadn't been charged yet, she said I would probably be charged Friday when it shipped . I said I thought I was getting it Friday. She said I was . I told her I wouldn't be charged the same day I was getting it, and that if it was being shipped Friday I'd rather cancel my order and try the store. She said she wouldn't do that and I should get the phone by Friday. I thanked her and hung up.
Verizon reps are no help lol.

I wouldn't be surprised if you get charged sometime today or tonight and then you will get shipping info tomorrow. Last year, I didn't get charged until Tuesday night, received shipping info the next day and phone was here on launch day.
This! I wasn’t settling for aluminum because I work in the veterinary field and my S3 SS Black has held up with no marks despite scratches from patients or accodental bumps on hard surfaces. So imagine my surprise when I called the morning of the 14th at 11am to ask if Verizon was getting them and the rep found them (still showing 9/21 delivery) and placed my orders.
They rarely are of any help. Especially when it comes to the pre-order stuff lol. I think shipping and delivered pretty much mean the same thing. I'd be willing to bet you will get charged today. I think you get your phone Friday! Good luck!

Yeah, my mother’s 8+ 64 has been acting weird as of late so I figured I’d surprise her with the gold phone and watch as an early birthday gift. And as a tech nerd, I splurged for myself with my own phone and watch even though aside from size and a couple improvements, the Max isn’t much different from my 256 X
Me!!! It's a race right now as I have 2 things I'm expecting to come through, but only one will make it... Hoping the phone charge comes through sooner rather than later!

I just ordered a 44mm SG Aluminum Series 4 from Verizon last night, with a delivery date of 9/21, so strange. Thought these were pushed further back than the phones.

For reference, I ordered mine late in the morning, approx 11am CST.
All prior years ordering via VZW, I was charged and notified via text on Wednesday, shipped overnight on Thursday.
I expect the same process this year.
Hopefully this won’t be removed for being OT, but thought I’d share due to the timeliness. My husband knows how much of an Apple fangirl I am so he just sent me this from downstairs in the resort we’re staying in. He has a conference in Miami until Wednesday so I tagged along, and Woz is speaking right now. When I saw his schedule, I threatened to add -INE to his badge (changing it to Thomasine) and go in his place for this session

I ordered two phones in the same order. For some reason I was charged for one phone (Xs Max 64gb SG), which switched to processing, while the other (Xs Max 64gb Silver) is still pending.
Yup it does! That's why I am not worried
I believe there was even a preorder where my card was not charged until after I had my iPhone I have the same issue...2 phones in the same order. Was charged for my wife's Gold 256 Xs last night. Still waiting on the Silver 256 Xs Max to be charged and moved to processing. Not worried at all about receiving them both on Friday.
I'm on a verizon business account through my company and I dont have access to the login. My boss got me an Xs Max and forwarded me the order email It has an order number but no location code. Is there any way to check order status with just the order number?
