Still not charge here. I ordered my 256 Sg max at around 4:50am eastern and ordered my wife’s right at launch at 3am est. I got charged for hers and have shipping info but still nothing yet for mine. Still showing pending on the app with ship date of 09/21. Fingers crossed

What's the usual time between being charged and receiving tracking info? It's been about 13 hours and no tracking, so I'm a little nervous (though I keep telling myself it'll be fine)

Okay, Im seeing a pattern here. Looks like the people who ordered the XS max in space grey after the initial period of when preorders opened still havent been charged. Im in the same boat myself

seems like all storage options of the Space Gray Max aren't getting processed quite as quickly as the other colors.

Man, STILL haven’t been charged :(
Me either. I'm chatting with a rep now to see why. Make sure nothing wrong with my account.

Ugh. The Verizon chat just told me:
"I can understand not getting your device when you expect it. On preorders it is an estimated shipping date ... I can tell you the charge will go then and the delivery date is entirely different, I hope I am understanding correctly to help".

I was just notified that my Xs Max Silver 256 has shipped. Ordered around noon on Friday.

I ordered the exact same phone on Friday morning after I got to work and also just received my shipping notice! Receiving by 3:00 on Friday.

I ordered the 64GB XS Max in gold at 0425a EST and still shows processing and no charge

Obviously no rhyme or reason to how they process orders in relationship to when someone actually placed their order o_O You ordered nearly 12 hours after I (and others) did. Yet we are still waiting for movement.

There is rhyme and reason - warehouse is the location has alot to do with how they are processed just as much as time the order was placed. Also the reason you see the same configurations charged in waves is the way the pallets are broken down and orders processed.

As I have said about 4 times in this thread- I have bought every (including s) model since the iPhone 4s from Verizon- I have yet to have a launch day date and they miss it. I have seen items 24 hours before the launch date receive a cc charge and make it to their new owner.

Everyone expecting an iPhone will get it on the date or before unless their bill is past due.

Normally you will see the date disappear, then a charge, then made even pending again, then by next morning a tracking number.

Hope this helps ----

I did that on Tuesday night, they said they would have the order team send me a shipping number within 24 hours, which has come and gone, and that didn't happen. Still nothing, no charge, no update on Verizon, and nothing in FedEx.
I ordered the Max 256 in space grey. I mainly called to make sure nothing was wrong with my account and the rep said everything was fine and they send out shipping info in batches.

Do yourself a favor and don't listen to a word the Verizon reps tell you. They know just as much as you, and in some cases less. I have had many reps that didnt even know that the "ship by" is actually the delivery date...

That's me as well. I ordered the max space grey around 6am PST Friday morning and still have not been charged.

It would be interesting to know how this all works together behind the scenes. My mind thinks, the phones should ship first come first serve, but that clearly is not how it works.

As much as this whole thing is pissing me off, I do have to give credit to Verizon: they truly work as hard as they can to make sure these releases go as smoothly as possible.
